Although it has been quite a bit of time since our last media update, the PVKII team has still been hard at work. Our forums, especially the team journal area, have been seeing plenty of action since our last post. If you would like to keep up with our progress as we have it available, we urge you to keep an eye on our forums. Feel free to register and join our growing community, if you haven't done so already. Also, check out the openings to find out positions we have open on the team. For those who haven't been keeping up with our progress, the PVKII team is proud to present you with what we have been hard at work on for the past few weeks.

For starters, our coder Akz has been doing a lot to put together our first official Alpha Build (and second, and third ;) ), keeping very busy whenever the time is there. As of now, we have two working game modes-Booty and Booty Tag, the Skirmisher and Berserker are in-game along with the 2 Handed Axe and Cutlass, Fully functional team selection, our melee combat system is advancing, and much more.

On the media front, our team has gained a few new additions including Zephyr who has been modelling some props and DocMortand who has been doing some excellent sound effects and voice overs. On top of the new additions, the team you already know has been busting out some new media as well. jRocket has the Heavy Knight underway, you can find the high-poly unskinned version below. A few weapons have been modelled and skinned, and a few maps are underway: pvk_temple by Crazytalk, pvk_catacombs by rApT0r, and pvk_island by Gaz. In addition to all of these, DocMortand has been pumping out some great sound effects and Voice Overs (Some of which are already in-game, which you can expect to hear in the future).

High Poly Unskinned Heavy Knight; Weapons: Flintlock Pistol, Throwing Spear, Blunderbuss and Crossbow; Maps: pvk_catacombs, pvk_temple and pvk_island; Various Props; Two in-game shots including the Berserker, Berserker's axe and Skirmisher's cutlass.

Great looking models there.

I never really played this mod on the Half-Life engine, but I'll definitely have to check it out now.
