how do i install this on the steam version of the game

hey need help-i just recently Dled and now (playing as rhun) when i enter a siege and move to attack i get about as far as the loading screen, then i the game crashed and i get a box saying medieval has encountered an unspexified error and must now exit.

an way to fix the situation aside form reinstall? which ive done a few times now.
