Use the 32 bit mode. 64 bit doesn't work for me on Win7.
So this game is going to be turn-based?
Is this the same team that did Dead Frontier?
"....don't we have enough zombie games already?"
BLASPHEMY! BLASPHEMY, I SAY!!
*cough* .. on a serious note, this is looking sweeeeeeet.
From one developer to another, thank you for posting this! I'm no graphical wizard myself, so I love hearing about everyone else's techniques for streamlining graphical processes.
However, all GTA "murder and steal" clones seem to be accepted. Such a double standard. :P
#1 and #3 could each have been my answer. They're tightly correlated.
I would track this, but it's being released on an incredibly limited platform.
I think he's far enough along that switching to a different engine would be the very definition of insanity. Anyway, looking good. Tracking this for sure.
Looking great as always. Keep it up!
I think that is indeed what he's saying. Your blood, sweat, and tears are meaningless to him and his selfish user experience.
You don't need to be 18 to get a bank account, nor do you need to be 18 to get a debit card.
Yes, that's quite stupid. It's also quite arrogant that you post such a comment here, of all places. I can understand wanting to try something before you purchase it, but "not wanting to pay for a bunch of 1s and 0s" is just plain ******* rude and ignorant.
Weird--this news item didn't get flagged for me to read, even though I'm tracking this game.
Shame on you, if you're talking about what I think you're talking about.
People expect results because game studios advertise this kind of crap waaaaay to early. Building impetus for your project is one thing, but it's something else completely to start making promises before you even have a halfway decent alpha.
Magnificent. The world needs more educational games with this sort of originality.
Howdy, new friend! :)
Did you delete the previous news entry or something? I swear, this is deja vu.
Glad to see you're still plugging away at this project! It seems like a very fresh, original concept, and I can't wait for a playable demo! :)
Also, sorry to hear about your health problems.
Did that panda just have his way with the blond woman?
Mobile + PC
Thank you for watching kaiju!. There will be an "open alpha" phase coming up in the near future, so stay tuned!
The "Price" field acts as a "suggested bid". You manually type in what it is that you hope people will bid on your items.
I like the idea of not being able to cancel auctions/bids... or perhaps canceling them would take you out of the running to win the auction, but keep your items in limbo until that auction is over with.
As for limiting bids/auctions -- that is definitely in the works. :)
Thank you for watching kaiju!. Here pretty soon, I'll be pushing the game into an "open alpha" phase--so keep your eyes peeled!
I just wanted to comment that it was funny that two projects that end with an exclamation point had sequential news items on the front page, but after checking out some info about your game, I think I might keep an eye on you guys. :)
Thanks for tracking kaiju!. I'm planning to initiate an "open alpha" phase in the near future, so stay tuned!
I think this is a fantastic idea--the engine/concept is freely available to all, whereas the gaming experience developed using that engine/concept is commercial. I think it sticks to your indie roots without selling yourself short.
