Just finished this today. Phenomenal work! I'm surprised as to how long it lasted, but then again that's why it was in development for so many years. My only complaint would be that in the last chapter, the game has so many battles where it throws too many enemies at you at once, easily depleting all your health & armor. But i'm sure the steam release will fix this and most of the other problems!

You should read the latest announcement about that. But TLDR: this mod will probably never get finished because it became too much of a hassle for the guy to work on.
It's a damn shame because it had the possibility of becoming a very, very good mod, but at the same time you really can't expect any project that's mostly driver by enthusiasm and not money survive the mid-development hell.

Hey! Just wanted to say that I love Challenger Deep 2, it's so much different from any other mod thanks to its new aesthetics and the much more open maps (and especially the sea skybox, that's are one of the biggest highlights for sure)! I hope you'll make more stuff like this in the future, perhaps with a team since there's much more motivation that way :)

Just finished the mod now, and wow, I didn't expect it to be that good, it has its own unique style and aesthetic that makes it stand out from other mods, and I think that's the biggest highlight!

It also has a tendency to kill off important characters in very silly ways, you'll know what I mean when you play it! Still worth playing though.

After playing through the first 2 other Quiet Rehabilitation maps, I can see this one surpassing both in every way! Keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to playing this!

So I just played and finished this mod today. And I must say it was pretty good! It had many flaws regarding a lot of the puzzles though, since a lot of times I had no idea on where to go and what I was supposed to do, but other than that, it's worth playing! It will keep you busy for a couple of hours for sure! And you rarely even see mods being this big and not being fully rushed, so this by itself makes for a very unique experience.

this update brought up a very frustrating bug; loading saved games will most likely crash the game. i've noticed this in the Highway 17 chapter, so the only way to progress is to not die, otherwise you'll have to restart the whole chapter..
