Having worked as a farmer and woodcutter for most of my life i became determined to do something that would leave my mark after i was gone. Since then i got back to studies, and i have now a master degree in Electrotecnical Engineering as well as a degree on Electromechanical Engineering. On my free time i like playing and so i became interested in creating my own games or, in the shorter term, modding games to get something closer to what i would like games to be.
The campaign conversion to DC is now almost completed, with only the last mission requiring final testing.
On the 3rd mission which is being displayed on this video the guardsmen that protect the fleeing civilians are now dropped by Valkyries thus operating in a way closer to what would be expected from Imperial Guard/Planetary Defense Forces.

A guardsman life is to die. If their sacrifice saves some civilians then it is a worthy sacrifice.
At least this gameplay justifies the briefing of the 4th mission where it is stated that the regiments guarding the city are decimated ;)

Either way, I might provide a version of the mission 3 scar with this commented out in case someone wants to play the mission without the worthy yet somewhat wasteful sacrifices.
If only they could drop in Rough Riders. :(
There is no reason they would not be able to drop Rough Riders.
It would just be a waste to send all those horses to the slaughter.
Afterall horses are more valuable than guardsmen :P
