Guys my campaign wont work!! my clock is already set without daylight savings!! It was working fine for 2 months then, its acting up again!

Hi I was wondering if you guys could help me, I'm currently having a problem with my Third Age Campaign. I downloaded it last spring break and I was hoping to play it nonstop like any other gamer would but as bad luck would have it something went wrong.

I was playing Isengard in my campaign. I have the Baron Samedi Mod pack downloaded and I have pikemen and berserkers,etc. The fights were doing great until I was ambushed by King Theoden of Rohan. I was about to fight and then the screen blacked out and returned me to my desktop and a message appeared saying "Medieval 2 encountered an unspecified error and will now close" something like that.

I have the cd version of Medieval 2 kingdoms, in fact I have the Gold edition or whatever it was.The custom battles work for some reason just not the campaign battles. I'm a complete newbie to anything computer-wise and I just started learning all the words and stuff so please bear with me. I tried looking for solutions on forums but what they were saying was too technology savvy for me to understand. Anyways, If you guys could help me, I would greatly appreciate it because I love this game to death haha. Thanks again
