Blog RSS Feed Report abuse Latest Blog: Ray Gun Competition!

0 comments by GreenButton on Mar 2nd, 2010

Hello again,

Together with Weta Workshop, Green Button is hosting a free competition to encourage Blender users to be as creative as possible. The competition involves imaginative people from around the world designing 3D ray guns on Blender in line with the Weta range of Dr Grordbort products. People will use a Green Button based plugin when creating and submitting their ray guns to speed up the process. The user can view and vote on submitted entries by peers. Prizes are awarded for the best designs, sponsored by Weta, and may include ray gun models and a trip to and guided tour of Weta studios. The competition is free to enter and will be a lot of fun for all involved.
The competition is scheduled to kick off in late March in conjunction with the launch of the Weta Collectables Exhibition at Cyberport in Hong Kong.
A website to coordinate the competition will be launched soon.

Kind regards,
Cassie - The Green Button Team
