Hello everyone! I'm a student currently studying 'Interactive Multimedia', which I hope to be able to put to good use as a career in my near-future. I'm also an avid gamer, recently playing a lot of casual and indie games.

Truly brilliant concept and execution.
This game has its share of bugs and quirks, but I can't bring myself to give it anything less than a 10. Cortex Command is an undeniably fresh experience; I haven't played anything quite like it before or since, and in the booming indie game scene, that alone is enough to warrant some praise.
Graphics are great, music is fabulous, and while the gameplay takes some getting used to, it's extremely engaging and deep once you get the hang of it.
I can't possibly go into detail about the game without writing much more than anyone wants to read, so I'll just say that Cortex Command features some of the best local multiplayer I've ever experienced (right up there with Quadsmash), and that I can't recommend it enough.

Brilliant sandboxy multiplayer game.
The game might feel a little limited at first, but you'll quickly discovered there's much fun to be had when playing with other people. The soundtrack is great, the graphics are great, and the gameplay is a lot of fun, no matter which class you are.
My only gripes would be that the island is too hard to navigate (lots of long detours to get around water), and that helicopters and planes are just too hard to shoot down from the ground (or the air for that matter).
Highly recommended.

Fun little local multiplayer game, and it's great at parties. This game is overlooked!

Truly wonderful experience.
I had no idea what I was expecting when I began playing Waking Mars. Whatever preconceptions I had, they were mashed up and fashioned into one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had in recent memory.
Fantastic exploration-focused game, a unique eco-system building gameplay style, and a dynamic and thoughtful storyline make this one you can't afford to miss.
My only complaint would be that the game doesn't tie up much of anything in the story by the end, even with the 'best' ending. It's an unfortunate and disappointing end to such a carefully crafted adventure.
