Guys, I know this was asked before, but how can I run Generals and ZH in 64 bit widnows 8?
compatibility mode - not working
run as admin - not working
modifying .ini file - not working
Any workarounds that don't require installing virtual machine?

Could somebody please help me, I can't seem to make Generals running on Win8 64bit. I tried the Options.ini trick, but it failed.
Please help me for I haven't played RotR in at least 2 months.
Edit: also tried entire 2 pages of Google solutions - all are not working.

Pardon me, but my mod isn't working. I followed the instructians and launched the game, but it gave me an error and the game didn't respond.
I think it may be from the patch.
What is the required patch to play it?

If You like European war movies, then You should watch the movie "Three reserists"(Trimata ot Zapasa)(Тримата от Запаса)(1971)- A Bulgarian movie about the less-known front of WW2 (Bulgarians vs Germans). And actually, we kicked the Germans' ***** more than "Stalin's mighty army".

It is a shame that such a front isn't known in the "civilized world".

Hehe, no more collecting MP 40s from the ground ^_^.

The victimes of america are around 100 million.
The victimes of "the baby-eating huns" are 20 million.
Sinse when is 20 more than 100.
The fact that "ze" germans killed less civillians in France, than the "liberators" is seemingly negligible.
There is a Romanian game (I don't remember the name sorry) where the Romanians take over the america in a day and it's almost as brutal as WaW (alas it has a very poor graphics engine).

The bombing runs, where the "liberators" claim that they are bombarding industrial and "strategic" millitary objectives, is downright wrong. My great-grandfather was killed in one of theese "raids" (there are no better than the 9/11/2001 attacks) and they have the hypocrits to build a monument to that in the american embessy in Sofia (the very ground they had bombarded, 56 years earlier)

This mod is great, but it doesn't include enough dead americans.
