With the incredible source engine that Half-life two was made with, the player was allowed to see Valve's creation in an almost realistic light. However when the same engine was applied to Half-life one, the original, the first nothing changed except the water, the blood, and the explosions. What a let down. But all is not lost because a group of gamers banded together to fix the problem that valve had created. Following the saying "if you want something done right then do it yourself" these gammers/modders began to create Black Mesa source, a mod for Half-life 2 that at twenty percent completion already looks worlds better than Half-life source. Black Mesa Source, the entire Half-life one with half-life 2 graphics was concieved.
You guys rock to no end for deciding to create this mod. Good luck.

Deus Ex is one of greatest games ever devised by mankind, if not the greatest. Its sorry sequel Invisible War was rushed, but this task you have chosen will be as honorable as the Rebirth mod for System Shock 2. It is good to see people remastering the original instead of making their own mod that just gives the player more guns or allows the player to play as george W. bush. Hang in there and keep it up. I am one of the many that are looking forward to its release and stepping into the nano augmented shoes of J.C. Denton again. Good Luck.
