It must be the bandits playing their chikky-brikky tricks on me then.
So I am running through the game with 2.03 and everything is crazy in the bandit base. There's one bandit inside the prison cell with the duty guy. And there was another dude seemingly falling into the room through the roof. Interestingly enough the bandits didn't kill the prisoner automatically. Only sometimes, and that resulted in mission failed.
Also, one of the other two Duty guys was in the court yard when I got there and it took a lot of bullets and save/loads to get him out alive :D.
Overall one very intense session. Learned that attacking head first and running arround is better than trying to snipe the ******** with the AK.

And my God, the weather effects are good! My jaw dropped twice in the same session. Once as I saw the shadow of a small cloud passing over me and creating a patch of darkness several feet wide around me and once again seeing the fog in the evening with a tint of sunset in it. Can't believe this is the good old SoC I'm playing. :)
Fun fact : I added the patch to my existing gameplay (I am in the Wild Territory) and Strelok's rifle got replaced by a 68 KG Mosin. :))
I'd like to see more variety in weapons and store choices for the next patch, but if this is your vision for the Zone, it's ok too, i don't mind. :)
Edit : it can be any weapon I previously equipped. So I can cycle my entire loot and boost the price of everything. Tempting exploit, but I feel bad for the stalkers. :))
First of all, I'd like to thank you for providing and taking the time to support such a good mod. The patch improved many aspects that were frustrating in the first release. Now I can spot enemies easier and they drop quickly when isolated but they become overwhelming in an instant if I expose myself to a large number of them.
One bug to report. If I try to sell the equipped weapon to a stalker its price is several times larger than normal. It then remains like this. I just observed this in Agroprom when saving Mole. I supposed it happens anywhere. Running v2.02.

Thank you so much for providing this! I love the look of these screenshots, all gloomy and rusty. The zone should have it's depressing autumn feel from time to time.
However, it can't go all sepia. It needs some variation here and there.
I've only entered the Garbage last night. Will try to push further but I might also wait for the patch to fix the combat. Bandits are too precise now, sniping me from far away with crappy shooters. :)
Pick whichever feels right for you. I'm sticking with 75 for now. Any wider and it feels like I'm looking through a fish eye lens or something like that.
One more thing. There is almost no ambient lighting on highest settings. Any shade is pitch black. I can't see the walls in Skadovsk in places. It shouldn't be like this.
I don't know if it's intended but sometimes normal walking (call it jogging or running if you want) starts draining stamina at what seems to be exactly the pace of sprinting (pressing X). It might be a bug as I didn't see it happen before some quick loads/saves. Don't tell me we shouldn't save/load either :D
Apart from that i don't have enough bullets to kill a dog and the bump maps are a bit exaggerated. That's what i can report from the short trip from boat to cave and back.
If your motion is limited this much it means there'll be situations where you can't even run for your life or for tactical purposes.
Meet the wrong mutants or a Mercenary patrol and you're f..ed.
How did you alter the spawn rates? I really enjoyed the Pripyatan:Arms mod.. It was mental, there were fights everywhere. Lots of loot too.
Making the game more difficult for the sake of making it difficult is not always a good thing. I hope you balanced the game so that people can actually advance through the story at a decent pace.
hmm. problem seems to come from the suit's power_loss parameter.
i guess high armor = you won't run with it. :)
is the CS-3A suit supposed to make you tired when wearing it?
i have it upgraded with the enegry restore thing and it stops me from running sooner than it does with it in the inventory.
maybe there is a - instead of a + somewhere?

4- Go to "config" then "text", locate your desired language, delete the others folders and rename the one you've chosen to "eng".
this made things better for me
here's an idea. try lowering your graphics settings if you get crashes. texture size especially.
for me it crashes everytime i load a save file. i start the game again and carry on but it becomes annoying.
The mod is supperb!.. even on my sucky static lighting settings. Long live Pavel! :)
chill, man. they are probably testing or busy with day to day stuff.
I kind of underestimated the depth of this mod until i read the description and let's say graphics mods are obvious when they're done, but the AI stuff really requires patience and careful testing and balancing. Maybe there are crashes or some weird bugs. We're yet to see a Stalker base version that behaves, so Dolgov has/had a lot of work to do :))
