I'm liking this mod so much, but there is a constant crash i get every now and then related to some chimera head or something, the log looks like this:

I found out that the lastest version of Reshade (4.9.1) induces lots of ghosting on any depth buffer based shader under the Anomaly engine. On the v1.1 of this preset I ended up using the binaries from the previous 4.8.2 version of Reshade wich fixes almost all of it.

Here is a video showing the v1.1 of the preset and how it has 0 ghosting for me. Can you see any ghosting here?? Your results are different???

So When you start the game using the v1.1 version can you see in the top of the screen a yellow message about a new version of Reshade availabe?? If that so then idk what could happen, I can't test it on other hardwared than mine and it is possible that the 4.9.1 version works better on a different graphics card, you could try that by swaping the dxgi.dll from one version of Reshade to another.

It's an option ofcourse. At first I intended to use as the main AO solution but somehow it allways ended up showing some kind of "grid" pattern on ground & grass wich was distracting for me and I was only able to minimize it with huge amounts of samples, wich became inneficient and opted for the actual technique.

Also one can try the MXAO techninque wich is the inferior of the three IMO, but more perfomant.

For me i don't see any flickering, can you post any screenshot to see what is happening? There is one thing I'll try to fix and that is the ambient oclussion lagging behind a little in time compared to the scene, it's more obvious at lower framerates, at 60fps is barelly noticeable. Maybe that is what u call flickering?

The armed zone 3.0 is the weapons pack i used. I'm not at home but also installed a fanmade patch to make it work under DX11

Hehe i'm on the same boat. May i ask you at what resolution do you play, and if possible can you give a try on this preset?? Just out of curiosity to see how it performs on your GPU. Don't worry it won't burn your GPU, i guess :)

Man this needs mipmaps to be added on grass textures so badly, even using a DSR factor of 4 times my native resolution the distance grass is a pixelated mess. Other than that this looks good.

Infinite monolith spawns on Zaton/Red Forest and other maps, idk if has to be with the vanilla anomally or with this modpack:

They never stop coming, I wasted all my ammo while hiding on a corner of that building, but the spawns allways come to me at intervals of 1-2 minutes. Had to spawn a pair of allied squads to aid me and get out of there.

I had to learn from scratch how to align the iron sights of the weapons, took me 2 hours to learn and fix the M1 Carbine, just to realize later how bad it was (and looks) lol. Sadly i can't send you the values becouse after selling and swapping it for a automatic rifle with a digital sight, the reticle was out of the sight so i just gave up with the mod uninstalling it. There are a some weapons with this problem, so why to include them?? It blows my mind. Atleast some packs are good, like B&S or some CW weapons, although they clearly look very different like they were ported from diferent games with very different style.

Just use the tourist difficulty for Progression before starting the game and pick one from the list. I have a problem with warfare too, using the illnaru settings, after 3 or 4 days i get a warning message about some Smart Terrain on Army Warehouses having 30 squads, so if i go there it's a complete shitshow, there are like +1000 stalkers on that map and even my Ryzen 5 5600X can't handle that ammount of NPCs fighting, i get like 10fps lol.

I got to admit this is a fun mod, just pure action with tons of weapons to choose from. I loved the WWII themed weapons so much i almost only use them exclusively on my 1st playthrough. The enemies feels a little tanky tho, but a headshot from a mosin/kar98k is usually enought to bring them dead quickly.

I don't know man, i appreciate the effort from modders and repackers alike but this repack feels like a frankestein of a mod. Some weapons are close to the camera while others are afar from it, some scopes are 3D while others are 2D, models and quality on them varies from amazing to crap, amazing animations to crappy ones... And weapons like M1 Carbine (wich i loved to see ingame) has broken iron sights, the bullet goes like 1m above the lined sights so it's pretty much useless and it feels just a filler weapon to the roster like many others.

This modpack just feel so inconsistent regarding weapons, and while there is a ton of them, for me quality/consistency>>>>>>>>>>>quantity

Also in 2 hour of testing got 3 random crashes. Another issue i encounter is that starting as Loner in Zaton i noticed infinite Monoliths & Zombies spawns around Skadovsk, I have been fighitng them like 2 full days non stop and they never stop coming, so you can also imagine how crappy the performance is when there are like 30 bodies laying on the ground + a couple of Monolith squads fighting you and throwing grenades with explosion effects that covers your entire screen with smoke and fire like in a Michael Bay movie while you are trying to aim those bastards with a 3D Scope... I was just getting 20fps and even bellow that in those moments on a RTX 2070...

Sorry but i had a very bad experience with this repack. I cannot recommend it.

By checking those weapons after you mentioned it. yeah you are correct. All of them still uses a sway animation while aiming, but on PPSh i find it tolerable, the front sight never leaves the back sight and doesn't dance too much, and concerning the shotguns the weapon sway movement of the sights are stronger, but because you usually will use them at point blank range I don't find it so annoying, but it's there.

And sure seems like the _ads extension was only missing on the SVT-40 rifle, the other weapons can't be fixed like that

Ok I just figured out how to fix this:

Inside w_SVT40.ltx:

- Select Lines from 185 to 190 both included

- Paste this:
anm_idle_aim = blnd_svt40_idle_ads, idle
anm_idle_aim_empty = blnd_svt40_idle_ads, idle_empty
anm_idle_aim_moving = blnd_svt40_idle_ads, idle
anm_idle_aim_moving_empty = blnd_svt40_idle_ads, idle_empty
anm_idle_aim_moving_crouch = blnd_svt40_idle_ads, idle
anm_idle_aim_moving_crouch_empty = blnd_svt40_idle_ads, idle_empty

- Save and exit. Fixed

The _ads extensions after every "blnd_svt40_idle" line was missing for some reason on your file, by adding them it removes the weapon sway while aiming.

I really like your mod, loved CEMENT positions and Blindside reanimation is one of the best addons for me, putting those 2 toghether is a dream come true :D Thank you!!

1 simple suggestion, as other mentioned before the SVT-40 can't be aimed using iron sights, it uses the weapon sway of the idle animation so it's impossible to line up a shot properly

Loving your mod, great job!! The only thing i dont like much is about the SVT-40 sound as I prefer the vanilla version, quite more impactfull and satisfying to shoot. So my question is, there is any way I can remove that specific sound from the mod?? Other than that it's an excellent mod overall

This mod is just awesome, the very best of my of addon list BY FAR. I just wanted to say thank you for your amazing work. I allways play with your modified guns just becouse how satisfying is to fire/reload/unjam them. TT-33 for pistol, Mosin/SVT for some long range shooting, and good old AK-74 & PPSh-41 for some left mouse buttom loving.

Seriously i love your work, this should be included on the main Anomaly files, it's a shame someone could play the game without knowing about this mod.

EDIT.- I wish i could know how to merge CEMENT position mod to your modded weapons, i dont know what variables i have to modify, that would be just the perfect combo for me :)

Oh don't worry, i disabled the blowout sounds from JGSME and everything is fine for me (and my cat :P)

And don't getme wrong, i didn't create any animations for the weapons, I just copy/pasted the actually existing jamming animation from the AK12 and added it to my beloved Merc Vintorez and AKS74U, so instead of reloading the weapons when a jam occurs, it just pull off the chamber to release the cartridge, so it is faster and looks cooler... becouse im a filthy STALKER who allways goes with damaged weapons, im too lazy and poor to repair them everytime :P

First, thanks to all amazing modders out there wich are making STALKER relevant even today, im still having a blast playing it in 2021 like if it was the first time. Second thanks to you for taking the effort and time for putting such an awesome work from others together and claiming "it just works!", becouse it does :) Third, remove the awfull siren sounds form the modpack, i know it is your only contribution out of this modpack wich you carefully choosed, but i think the sound is very intrusive, and my cat hates it to the point he wants to assassinate someone everytime a blowout occurs ingame, seems like he lacks of psy protection hahahaha. No seriously, had to remove it becouse we can't stand it, other than that is such an amazing work. I also modified a bit your modpack by adding custom jamming animations to my favourite weapons becouse i hate to reload them everytime a jam occurs.
