I recently downloaded the mod and it installed fine. I get to the loading screen for a game vs the computer and it gets about have way and doesn't move any further. Any ideas whats wrong?

It looks like I am done with the pirates mod. Well I never really got started....Playing with no sound is not an option for me.

IS there anything I can do to get the sound working?

I dont have any other mods installed. I tried other mods for HW2 before and they had sound and worked great. No idea what the prob is.

Yea i downloaded 2.1 and tried plsying as the pirates. First of all there is no sound at all for either of the teams and even after u build a fighter facility with the pirates u cant build fighters. Sum1 plz help me i really wanna play this mod!

After i completed a fighter facility with the pirates i couldnt build fighter....so there wasnt much to do.

I downloaded vo.2.1 and for some reason when I play there is no sound whate so ever. What should I do? I'd appreciate any help.

There isn't any sound in the menu, the mod plays fine as far as i can tell, original homeworld 2 plays fine, and my audio settings are fine. This is the only mod for a game that Ive ever had troubles with the sound.

Ok im sry to post so much but I got it to work and there is still no sound. I just wanna play the freeking mod!

By default directory do you mean the place homeworld automatically gets installed to?

I downloaded v .3 and unzipped it into the data folder of hw2 and nothing happens when I click the shortcut for the mod.

I downloaded the mod and put it in the Data folder of homeworld 2 and it wont run. I click the shortcut and nothing happens. Do i need previous versions for it to work or what.
