Hey there,
im using this with Gamma and just picked the gun up from a dead guy, and it seemed to work fine but as soon as it gets jammed and you wanna unjam it, the game crashes:

FATAL ERROR

[error]Expression : M2.valid()
[error]Function : attachable_hud_item::anim_play
[error]File : D:\a\xray-monolith\xray-monolith\src\xrGame\player_hud.cpp
[error]Line : 462
[error]Description : model has no motion [idle], section wpn_mp153_hud
[error]Arguments : anomaly_weapons\wpn_mp153\wpn_mp153_hud.ogf

usually helps deleting the uni_anim_core script or the scripts folder itself, but this doesnt seem to do the trick in this case, any ideas?

Another great addition to the game, i really enjoy your work, i think the Famas are my favorite so far, especially with the Felin scope "club" :D

Anyway, one little issue, i just downloaded the V3 version of this, but i cant seem to find the scope anywhere, neither with the traders nor in the debug menu.

Im using it with Gamma and the gun itself shows up at traders like Ashot for example,, just alongside your other guns no problem (apart from the Benelli M3 now that i think about it), but as said theres no scope anywhere.

Am I missing something here or do i have to adjust something?

Ran into a bug while using these: Once they get jammed, you cant seem to unjam them, neither in game nor over the inventory screen. Even repairing them to full doesnt change it, since you didnt "unjam" it in the first place.

Im gonna try to fix by removing the misfire probability but might something you wanna look into or make a hotfix or something for it.

Other than that the rifles really are great and i really enjoy using alot of your stuff^^

EDIT: It seems the guns from the Delicious Daewoo pack suffers from the same bug, setting the misfire values to 0 fixes it though.

Just downloaded this, definetly some interesting guns but the K2 SMG seems to be like 2/3 of the
size of the other guns, like its shrunken down a bit although it should be a similar size to the others.

Is there some kind of hotfix for this that i missed?

Did anyone get this to work with reload sounds? Really wanna enjoy the awesome models of the gun, but no reload sounds kinda throws you off.

Edit: I installed the Delicious Daewoo pack, after that the M16 also had the missing reload sounds, so for the people that are missing them aswell, give it a try.

Just downloaded Gamma and played around with the debug menu, trying a few guns and i gotta say, your pistols and the variety is pretty awesome, didnt think i´d need more handguns in Stalker but it sure is awesome to have them :D
Only thing i noticed that alot of the 1911 models and replacements and that fort 21 i think, are sticking way into the screen, while the others pistols work properly in terms of hud positioning. I downloaded your pack seperately again and tried using the Blindside and Eft-Repo fixes but they dont appear to do anything, is there anything im missing or do i have to put those fixes in a particular order for them to work?

Thanks in advance for your answer

Okay, then try to only run the Ak105 hotfix after the install, i know what the problem is, it was my fault actually.
When i reuploaded the pack ealier this month the hotfix was already included, removed the download now aswell, so when just putting the modpack and the AK105 pack in it should work fine, as you already tried, and the two optic fixes i applied are included there already.

Again, i apologize, that was completely my fault, but i hope you can have some fun with the modpack otherwise :)

Does it crash on startup or when loading a savegame? Or does it occur when you equip certain items? If so tell me what so i can try to replicate it.
Did you use both hotfixes, like the ak105 and the one that fixes the optics?
And more important, did you load an old save or started a new game? Loading older saves can lead to ctd´s,thats what happened to me aswell and thats why i added the note in the description.

Sorry to hear that. I just went into the game and checked the masks and helmets, having no problem whatsoever. Can you tell me what else you use, either addons or just ingame items, when the bug occurs so i can try to replicate it?

Thats exactly why i made this modpack... if you´d just "drop in" the addons in a random way/order they wouldnt work or your game would crash on equipping certain guns for example.
But hey, you do you

Hey, im sorry to hear that. Did you use a clean anomaly install and the settings stated above? Namely DirectX cause that can **** up some things sometimes.
If so, is it happening for every helmet or just a particular one? Shouldt be any problem if no files where altered in anyway and you just copy and paste it, im using the exact thing i uploaded and for me its fine.

I completely agree with you, but as you said, for most of people its easy to merge, for some it isnt and this kinda pack is for those people. Its not huge or special or anything but some people still might find some fun in it and if even only person enjoyed it, thats enough for me to say uploading was worth it.

One way to look at it sure, but if you consider how ModDb is flooded with reuploads that add nothing and only alter stuff in the slightest way, modpacks at least give you the ease of installation, in this case at least. By your point of view half of all the ModDb files out there shouldnt be there in the first place then, cause they dont really add anything.

Adding all the stuff together and making it work is time consuming aswell and mind you, what i did was minimal,imagine someone putting 50 or 60 addons together and make them work, thats the real effort.
The "thing of substance" i added in this case was the ease of pretty much "plug&play;". You dont have to like it, you dont have to download it, but theres people that like stuff like this otherwise modpacks like Provaks or Escape from Pripyat/Chernobyl wouldnt be out there.

And as i said many times before: Im not a modder or anything, im just a guy that likes to play Anomaly and wanted to share the setup i play with and enjoy, i really dont get whats the big deal about it honestly, its not like its hasnt been done times before.

Im sure its not but as said im not a modder so im open to any advice.

For a file to be missing it would have to be altered or tinkered with in some way, cause im using the exact same pack and after the comment i checked all the helmets in my game, without issues or an screen alterations.

Thats a big problem indeed and i wouldnt want to have you people annoyed because someone used my modpack and messed around with it, so i updated the description in hopes that it maybe helps to have less people flocking to the discord and wasting your guys´time with problems they caused themselves.

I can see your point, though i think some of it comes down to preference, like the mod manager, but that doesnt really matter i think.
The base for the weapon positions was Position and View by Cement, which was also recommended for BaS by Mich if i recall correctly, and Gallus update only alters the guns touched by Blindside, so i cant really follow you on why BaS would need an update for gallus viewmodels since it isnt affected by it, at least not in the order i set the addons up. I also did tweak 4-5 guns at one point, and ended up only altering 2 in the end, namely having alt. aim for AUG and L85, so yes i know that its alot of work, if you were to adjust them all. But as said above there is no need for it in this case cause they all line up pretty much the same.

I honestly didnt have any intentions on updating this modpack in the future, rather to have it as a "as is" for now, but im thankfull you brought it up, i´ll add the Anomaly version number to it so people dont use it in the future when its already outdated by then.

Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. I tried adding taz 3.0 but then the game doesnt launch it all. Im not really a modder myself so i wont look that much deeper into it, compiling this pack was a lot of trial and error aswell cause some mods need to be in the right order(i´d highly recommend JSGME mod manager for doing that) and some addons need to be installed manually, which makes identifying errors more complicated, at least for me, as said im not really a modder.
Hope you have fun with it anyway though :)

Can you explain what it is about gallus vievmodels?

I can sure see your point, people always tinker with stuff and then the questions get directed to people that may have just altered stuff themselfes to get it to work and are not really that able to fix everyones specific problems.

Thats why i wanted to upload a pack i have a good experience and fun with so far, so people can just plug and play without having crashes all the time. As said above i didnt want to offend or insult anyone, and did not want to steal any credit, the credit goes to all the people that did those addons or where involved in them, its their great work and theirs only, i just merely put it together. Did my best to put all the names in there now aswell, and as mentioned before: If people are mad about this or insulted by it i´d be willing to take it down again aswell, no problem.

Hey there, to start i really love this mod, you did such an awesome job here its just great.

Noticed one thing though i have a question about, im currently using the PMM Makarov that has the those tritium ironsights on it, when using the handheld flashlight or a detector those sights actually light up and get brighter(which is awesome btw, love that detail). When using the headlamp though they dont, is there anyway to achieve that same effect with the headlamp?

Thanks in advance and hope you have a good one :)

Not using any Mod Organizer or anything but i figured it out, for some reason it didnt do any changes when altering the numbers, but now it does without any further tinkering, thanks alot man you have been a huge help, this makes it alot easier to tweak weapon positioning

Thanks for your answer mate. Im using BaS and P&V atm plus your addon and it works along well, also managed to get the L85 positioned well by using the values from P&V, off course now the backup sight position makes the gun offset to the left from center.
Is there any explanation online on how those value´s are set up? I cant really make much of those numbers sadly, otherwise i´d just alter them myself to get it repositioned :D

Edit: Okay after 2 hours of workin on it i finally managed to set it up correctly, the backup sight isnt perfectly centered but the bullets hit right inside the circle how they should so im gonna leave it at that. Im gonna post the values below for anyone interested in them, they go into \gamedata\configs\items\weapons/l85. Hope y´all have a good day and fun playing^^

hands_position = -0.085, -0.145, 0.0
hands_position_1 = -0.085, -0.145, 0.0
hands_orientation = 0.5,1.0,-0.85
hands_orientation_16x9 = 0.5,1.0,-0.85

aim_hud_offset_pos = -0.0672,0.006,-0.12
aim_hud_offset_pos_16x9 = -0.0672,0.006,-0.12
aim_hud_offset_rot = 0.02, 0.01, -0.0145
aim_hud_offset_rot_16x9 = 0.02, 0.01, -0.0145

aim_hud_offset_alt_pos = -0.0680,-0.011,-0.05
aim_hud_offset_alt_pos_16 = -0.0680,-0.011,-0.05
aim_hud_offset_alt_rot = 0.035,0.014,-0.0145
aim_hud_offset_alt_rot_ = 0.035,0.014,-0.0145

Awesome mod, works fine so far and really enhances the game, also the Position and View addon seems to work alongside it without any issue.

Only thing i noticed is that the L85 is in the vanilla hud position again, when re-applying the PoV addon its centered but the backup sights dont work, is there any workaround to correcting the hud-fov position on the gun again?

Thanks in advance
