Couldn't have said it better myself. Most of the time it just confuses the **** out of me.
This is going to be amazing.
Looks like another playthrough of Half-Life is in order.
Actually I just saw that it has already been Greenlighted. Fantastic!
Just finished my first map using this editor. It's great. So much better than 3.5! Thanks for all the hard work. I hope it gets Greenlighted soon.
I'm just curious if it would be possible for the "target_cdaudio" entity to have a preview function so you could listen to the audio track while in the editor similar to how "ambient_generic" works.
Those yellow dots usually appear around entities when they're stuck in walls or floors/ceilings or if a room/hallway is too narrow. Try moving him up a few inches above the crate. It's also possible the ceiling is too low so try raising it.
Spooky as hell.
Nice man, good see that you're back.
That worked, many thanks.
How do you change the animation sequence for models in the editor? They all use their default animation even though I've tried changing it in the properties menu.
Wow, this looks crazy.
Holy **** this is amazing.
Same here. Very confused.
Seems to be working for me now. It's downloading at least instead of freezing like before.
Damn, this looks like real life!
Good luck man!
I'm gonna paint the town reeeeed.
You can use EDuke32 otherwise.
Roof man is watching you masturbate.
This page is awfully devoid of Shrek memes.
Awesome, can't wait!
I am now bleeding from my eardrums. So visceral.
If you liked Episode 1 you will love Episode 2. Go get it!
Holy hell the Vortigaunts are suddenly vicious as a goddamn cougar.
Also I noticed that when insta-killing the Alien Controllers with the revolver during the Xen levels they would play their death animation as normal but then subsequently their corpse would occasionally get stuck midair.
I agree. It just might be nostalgia speaking but I've always preferred prefabs over models (especially highly detailed ones) which often tend to stick out like a sore thumb in a low-detailed environment (unless it's highly detailed of course but that's not always the case). That's also why I'm not particularly fond of the High Definition Pack models or even the High Resolution Pack for Duke Nukem 3D.
I dunno, it's just part of the charm I guess. Not everyone will agree obviously but that's fine.
I need this in my veins.
