You should bring back some of the details in the beginning of the game in a patch. Mostly stuff after meeting Barney, like the food ration machine in the train station and people walking around the plaza that made the city feel alive in the original. Also you should bring back the broken window in the room where you meet Alyx, as that's how she actually enters it the first place (Thats why you can hear glass breaking in that scene).

As for bugs that I've found so far that haven't been reported yet, some of the dialogue in the apartments is either broken or very delayed (For example the guy asking if if you were knocking doesn't say anything).

Honestly this looks way better than most remakes I've seen as this one still tries to keep the slightly dirty aesthetic that most other remakes just outright replace with the clean Portal 2 walls.

I mean, cool map and all, but you shouldn't upload this as a mod if it's just a singular map. Upload it as an addon and you should be fine.

Just so you know the mod still works on the newest update of Portal... Minus the ability to swap the crosshair colors because in this newest update, Valve removed the hud_quickinfo_swap command for no reason?
Strange, considering the fact that this update adds the UI for the Steam Deck where having an option to switch the colors to fit the controls would make sense. So confused.

Edit: Im afraid I need to correct myself. Valve did remove the command alright, but they didn't actually remove the function. They just made it only work when you set up gamepad controls via the Steam Input thingy that they enhanced in the latest Portal update. So it's still there, they just removed the feature to set it up manually and since the mod sets up controls directly in game the and not via Steam Input the game just doesn't detect the flipped portal fire binds.

Found about the update a tad bit too late. Still, the (new)first impressions are just HOLY **** WOW AAAAA
I love the redesign of the mod page, still im gonna miss the old one just a little bit. Game design wise, no wonder it took so long in between updates. It just looks stunning and (In my opinion) is the best PUNT has looked ever since Reepblue started it's development all those years ago. Can't wait for this to release. Even if it's gonna be short, I and many other people will enjoy every single microsecond of it. I also secretly hope beta builds will be included with the final release to see how the game evolved (A very big lot) through the years for all of the beta-nerds out there. You guys have a guaranteed success on your hands.

Gry-Online.pl is a polish website centered around video games and such. They host mods as well, but they are mostly reuploads from ModDB. No one that I know uses their mods section so the choice is yours really.

Thank you for bringing this up. As a fellow polish citizen im absolutely disgusted with this. Sad to see that a guy that seemed so nice would even think about doing something so depraved. I wish I could do something about it but since no one really has any info on where he lives and such im afraid nothing can be done aside from exposing him.

If yes - Prove it and change your page to look nicer. And change the mod's app Id to the regular version of portal like everybody else.

If no - Delete it. Taking someone else's work and claiming it's yours will bring you nowhere.

Something is wrong. For some reason it now just crashes as soon as you enter the maintenance tunels in the finale. This never happened to me before. I guess it's a new bug caused by... something. I hope this gets fixed by someone soon, since now you can't finish the game without using cheats.

This is so **** its not even a mod, I can't even consider it as a ******* addon. ModDB is not a place for low quality test maps. This is the type of **** that people will take into a Bad Half-Life maps compilation. Add something to ModDB when: 1. It's not a test but only when it's an actuall map, and 2. When it's quality is average at best and total **** at worst

I suggest to just ignore the stuff he makes. He just starts making **** and then abandons it, never to be revived again. Most of his works are just source ports of mods that don't need source ports [And some outright illegal **** like the CS stuff]

Not in this one [I think this is the first time he made a mod without stealing anything]. The rest of his mods though... This is where the fun begins. I still adore that he stole an entire mod once on his old acc and said it was his. This was the moment when I knew he is going to be a pain in the *** for the entire HL2 Mod Community.
