The golden rule to play Misery is not engaging in combat with every life form in the game. If you are used to go all rambo with anyone in the vanilla game you won't last a second in Misery.
And try not to get hit at all since you can't rely on medkits to save you during battles. Medkits in Misery are kinda useless.

It could be a "home made" crossbow, or an industrially manufactured smuggled into the zone. Either way i think that it would really fit in the zone given that it's a kind of weapon which adds a "survive with what you have" touch into the game.
Although it would be really hard to implement into the mod since the reloading time of such a weapon would make it imposible to play with regardless of its damage and stopping power atributes.
But since the mod is about making the zone miserable and realistic i though it would be a really nice touch.
I really wonder why they didnt add one to the vanilla version of any of the three games.

There's nothing wrong, that's how it looks like in the 1.1 version. When they release the 2.0 there will be more versions of all the guns so you will be able to have a non rusty Sig Sauer.

It would be really cool to have a crossbow. I mean it's the only thing missing in STALKER series and it fits perfectly in the environment of the Zone.
