Perfect!

This is so far essentially THE definitive edition of Galactic Battlegrounds!

While there are some small "artistic liberties" taken with the original game, this is overall a fantastic mod, and probably the only resurrection of CnC Generals we'll ever see. 10/10 well deserved!

A perfect way to experience DOOM 3 in a "enhanced vanilla" way.

A great overhaul of the OG HL2 gameplay that is very friendly to the original design.

The TRUE name of the game!

Shoddy maps (where do I go, what am I supposed to do), broken maps (noclip is needed to proceed), boring maps (plain and empty), ripoff maps (L4D2). Broken textures (keyboards, misaligned wall/window textures, ramps textured as stairs). HUGE performance drops (on a GTX 1080, textures for almost everything are 4k), terrible edgelord as a protagonist (Shadow the Hedgehog level of meme), shoddy story, bugs and glitches up the wazoo and STOLEN CONTENT!

As much of a letdown as the BFG edition was, this mod really helps it work. The animations, particles and textures that have been created and included from other mods (Redux textures and Phrozo's particles) help this game tremendously. The new weapon sounds are great as well. My only complaint is that some of the "old but improved" textures can look weird. It seems that sometimes too much sharpening/saturation have been included. It is occasional, though. Good work overall.

Great visuals, original soundtrack, neat AU story. The missions, however, can get hard even on "easy".

This is a fantastic unoffical patch. The balance changes are welcome and are well thought out. I also like how the team actually took the time to fix numerous bugs in the game and, most importantly, the campaign! For me, this is the definitive way to play "vanilla" Rise of the Witch King.
