Hello Star Trek: Continuum Modding Group!

I as well would be honoured to take part in the closed Beta.

Apart from having played computer games (RTS preferred) for the past 22 years, being a Start Trek addict since over 30 years, respecting the skill and time you all have put into this thrilling mod and having created custom maps for several games, I think I can contribute to the beta testing with following resources:

Desktop System:
AMD Phenom X6 1050T
16 GB Corsair RAM
2GB Sapphire 6950 Graphics Solution
2 TB Harddisk Space

Laptop:
Intel Core 2 Duo
2 GB Ram
2x Nvidia 8400 SLI
500 GB Harddisk Space

Network 1:
Cable Connection 64 Mbit down and 5 Mbit up (Germany)

Network 2:
ADSL2 Connection 16 Mbit down and 1 Mbit up (Germany)

Apart from those resources I am a native german with english roots, so both the english and german language are no problem.

I have additional skills if needed.

Hello Star Trek: Continuum Modding group. I have been tracking this mod since it first was officially announced and since then have been looking forward to it. Thanks for taking your time and effort to develop this mod, I hope it will be as successful as it looks in the first glimps and I also hope you all will be contributing to the Nexus 2 project...;)

Then I would like to ask if you are planning on including the Seraphim as the fourth race and if there is a limitation in the engine on how many factions one can include?

Is there the possibility to have a unit cap of 5000 included just to make it even more challenging for the future and taking into account that the systems do get better and will be able to handle 5000 in the future? I know that there are players around that cannot even play with the 2000 unit cap, but there are some around that can and could even play with a higher unit cap...;)

Please dear Revamp Team, don't use any units from other games and mods appart from Supcom, FA or Supcom 2 and mods or include only your own models and with that stay true to the Supcom Style and just make everything more appealing.I think that is very important. From what I saw for the new or reworked units you are going the right direction. ;)

Regarding what I mentioned some time ago I do really see the necessity to be able to create custom maps for Supcom 2, especially for the Revamp Mod. The limited amount of maps available is causing the game to get boring at some point, I am already experiencing this "Missing the Editor Syndrome"...:)

I know it would be a lot of work to get someone to make a Map Editor for Supcom 2, perhaps one could get in touch with GasPoweredGames again?
I would like to be helpful on that side, but I could only start mapping once the tools would be available, sadly enough haven't got the knowledge to creat those tools by myself.

Hello OverRated and Team!

I posted a few months ago and would now like to give you some additional input. :)

First of all and most important is the fact that you are still doing a great job on the mod and through this have given a lot of players that were more than disappointed with Supreme Commander 2 the gaming experience that should have been given to us by the developers. Please do not give up and don't let those unpatient people spoil your work. ;)

After I talked a clan friend of mine (many more will follow) into buying the game cheap and installing your mod we have had a few test matches against the AI and I noticed that we experienced the desync problems when only one player had checked the Mobile Builder 0.9. The same occured when we both had not checked the Mobile Builder 0.9. When we both had checked the Mobile Builder 0.9, we had no desyncs playing with two AI against us two players with a unit cap of 2000. So could it be that it has something to do with the Production Facilities used if Mobile Builder 0.9 is unchecked. The game is patched to the latest version 1.250 and the modfiles are all the latest available!

In addition I experienced a bug with the UEF ACU. Once having researched the crouch function, one can only build the units of the Tech that was selected before researching the new capability. Once researched, the Tech toggle button vanishes.

First of all I would like to congratulate the developers of this awsome mod to their realy outstanding work and hope they will continue this project for a long time.

Without this mod, Supreme Commander 2 was a complete let down, it was no where near what everyone would have expected after the first part and the expansion FA!

There is one big question for me though...

Are you going to work on some kind of Editor for Supreme Commander 2?

I am asking because certainly the custom maps for the original SC and FA apart of the mods, made the game keep alive so long, and I would love to have the chance of mapping for SC2 + Revamp Expansion...

Hoping for a reply and hoping that somebody is going to release an Editor for this game...
