Useful article :)
The project is now on reddit! Join and make some noise yo!
Pretty cool screenie :)
Looks pretty amazing!
Cool looking aliens :D
Cool stuff! Have you guys also considered using Spriter by any chance?
Seems pretty cool and cheaper overall compared to Spline Brashmonkey.com
Pretty cool project I must say, gonna keep an eye on it :)
I'm doing one along the same lines, but focusing more on the turn based strategy aspect instead of TCG and bumping into the same key learnings and to-do items overall. MLW is one of the most promising alternatives.
The project is now listed on Steam Projects (GreenLight), any support appreciated! Steamcommunity.com
Seems like a pretty cool project! I hope it gets made ^^
Big thanks! I haven't actually played HoMM2, but I'm a big HoMM3 fan. I do think HoMM2 has awesome graphical style, Ancient Beast will hopefully have a pixel sprite art pack as well eventually to resemble the old-school style even more for those who prefer that better.
The game is becoming more and more playable and even if it doesn't have online multiplayer for now being just hotseat, it can be played just fine using desktop sharing software such as Teamviewer.com or maybe even Samesurf.com
I want to gather more people who I can play Ancient Beast with and figure out more bugs and issues.
Also I want to record a gameplay video for 0.2 against a player that's rather challenging.
If you're interested in playing against me or maybe others, feel free to reply with your skype username in this thread.
My skype is dk.vali
so add me up ^^
Cheers! Check out the v0.2 release on 15th June, we're working hard to meet all the proposed goals ^^
Thanks! I hope you'll actually enjoy the game sooner or later :)
Check out all the new fanart on the dA group Ancient-beast.deviantart.com and consider making some ^^
Work and more work I guess. Cheers! :D
Seems the admins got some images embeded into this, big thanks.
I've also added a gameplay video of second match recorded ever.
Initially I wanted to avoid that completely as the marketing scheme revolves around people playing it over the internet, but it's a popular request and I would rather allow fans to play the game no matter what.
It's pretty limited right now. Online multiplayer, offline play, single player campaign and many other features will follow with time provided there is interest, contributors and a bit of funding. For now I figured I should focus on the combat and do that well.
Video ain't working here *sigh*
Just see it on Youtu.be
I think it's a really awesome project and I'm looking forward to it :-)
