Hey Farseer, I hope it's not too much to ask, but maybe you could draw up an article post talking about some of the behind the scenes stuff you've been working on? Potentially also could show us what else you have left to tackle? No "should be finished by..." or anything like that. Just a little something to for the slightly less patient people in your audience. (me XD)

It seems like the MC-30 is just kinda awkward in that regard. I've personally swapped out abilities on it before, and nothing really seemed to fit. It's a very dedicated ship, intended for one job, and it already does that job very well. Maybe a variant of the Crusader's Point Defense ability.

"The MC-30 swaps half of it's anti-fighter cannons over to a point defense loadout." I'm not sure if it's possible, but it could lower the fire rate on it's defense cannons to simulate some of the cannons being used for point defense. I'm not sure whether that would be a toggle state, (which makes more sense in my opinion.) or a timed ability.

Could you at some point post a picture of this craft with other vessels of it's class so we can get a good idea of how big this craft actually is? You keep talking about scaling it up to be frigate sized and that sounds massive XD

Edit: I now see the A-wing is considerably closer than I previously thought. I realize an A-wing is no Wide Load, but damn! This thing IS massive!

What if this was a T6 Station, and you upgraded the Level 5 Station to get access to this? Or maybe this and the regular station share the same slot. Say you build a Level 1 station because you're short on funds and need something to start producing more vessels. Or you build this instead, have it be very expensive to make up for the fact that you're essentially skipping 5 starbase levels. Just some ideas.

Am I just now noticing that the UI is transparent? Because that's freaking dope. Really gives it a whole new feel.

The Rebel errr... New Republic Citizen in me is quite terrified of our fleets having to face that behemoth in battle. Time for some K-Wing runs.
