I don't recall that particular secret, but I felt as though I'd found enough secrets to get by. Secrets shouldn't be a requirement to have enough ammo, in my opinion, but maybe that's the norm for Wolf 3D mods that I'm not aware of.

Played 3.5 levels, but can't continue anymore due to my lack of skill or what feels like unbalanced enemies. I'm not a regular Wolf 3D mod-player, but saw this on the front page and it looked well-made. The first 3 levels were not my style, but the heavy weapons and custom enemies made me want to push through. Level 4 I was enjoying the most, but even on the Recommended difficulty, I had to give up
eventually...
The mini-boss hitscanners have very fast reflexes and of course don't have painstates, so the peek-a-boo gameplay in close quarters means so much tedious shooting and unavoidable damage to the player. I like to think I conserve ammo in almost every shooter I play, but I couldn't get past a particular room with multiple mini-bosses on level 4 due to lack of ammo (and health, too). The levels are well made, but I really don't see why the ammo and HP pickups are so rare. I can't imagine the hardest difficulty. Very curious if this is an issue many others have when trying this mod.
I know you intend for this version of Brutal Doom to be super tough (based on the comedic descriptions in the options menu), but would you be able to provide some more difficulty options? The feeling of the weapons is the best I've experienced in a Doom mod, but I can't stand the speed of the spectres or the accuracy of the hitscanners when I'm forced to play with high monster count (locked to UV at minimum). Any chance of this?
I'd love to see this mod get finished, but I've never finished any Doom project I've started so I know it's hard to keep going when you have another idea you're more passionate about.
Doesn't work for me. I tried with GzDoom 2.4.0 and 3.1.0, and both times got DECORATE errors. Didn't run with anything other than IWADs.
I did a fresh install and it managed to fix everything, you're all good! Thanks for such a great mod!
The main menu doesn't seem to fit on my screen (like it's too zoomed in). Any way of fixing this?
Edit: Also have got missing (wooden?) textures in grey. I'm not using the hdpack.

Also, after I finally didn't burn after letting myself die 10 times, jumping is bugged, making the game almost unplayable.
I've got a big problem. Just loaded my savegame and my player is immediately engulfed in flames and burns to death. Any ideas?
I've been waiting for The Victors for what seems like years now, too. Hopefully your mod will be out ASAP, can't wait to try it!

I don't mean to be a pain, but is there an easy way of returning the imp's walking speed to the original speed in stock Doom 3? That's the only part of the mod that I don't like. (I don't know which values to change in the scripts)
I was playing in windowed mode and it said that the program had stopped responding, so I guess it was crash to desktop.
When I go to load the level the game crashes. I've installed the main mod up to the latest patch. I can run the standard version of the mod absolutely fine. Any ideas?
EDIT: The original load was on an ROE map. But since then I've successfully loaded a Lost Mission map. I'll let you know if I have any more issues.
Haven't tried this before, but have liked EcWolf builds when I've tried them so I'll give it a shot now!
How did you get it to work? Mine still crashes like yours.
The textures and shaders are broken with this release, at least for me. So much clipping and flickering that it's unplayable.
The new stone texture looks a bit cartoony, Maybe it's just me.
