I make Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption Mods and I also have a really cool YouTube channel called Manda-LORE. I Like Star Wars (Old EU exclusivley), Love Lord of the Rings, and Warhammer 40,000 is pretty neat as well.

A while ago, I made a little submod for the ever popular Empire At War mod; "Republic At War". I made the submod for, well people like me, who have watched RaW's development from the very beginning (back when it was known as "Imperial Assault II") and, upon the release of RaW, were disgusted at how corrupted it became by the dreadful 2008 CGI series: Star Wars: THE Clone Wars.
What the submod did essentially was remove all of the "TCW" elements of the mod and replaced them in order to bring RaW back to It's roots and make it more focused on the Prequel Trilogy as well as the older Expanded Universe source material. It also added a few things here and there.
However, do to the complex problems that accompany inter-modding community politics, I decided to scrap the project and avoid the inevitable shitstorm that it would create. It sucks because I know that there are people out there that would kill for this sort of thing but It's just not worth the trouble it would cause. So, because I had worked so hard on the trailer and advertising for this little project of mine, i thought that I's at least upload this so that not all my work would be in vain.

Pity. This looks rather promising.
The trailer is marvellous though. Any chance you will at least tease us with a few let's plays? I'd like to see you realistically playthrough a galactic conquest campaign.

Could you release it anyways? I would stand by you if you did as I don't care about being at the receiving end of a shitstorm if what I'm standing for is the right thing. Which in this case it would be.
Although if a public release is too much could you at least give it to those of us that care about lore accuracy by making it a private download? Wouldn't be the first or the last mod I'd be getting that way...
I could possible be in some "legal" trouble if I released it officially, allot of the models I used were ported and Z, the creator of RaW hates my guts so if I were to modify his precious mod into what he promised us, he wouldn't be too happy.
What beef does Z have with you?
There are plenty of mods that use ported assets. They just cannot be published on moddb directly from what I can tell but being uploaded on personal site with only a moddb page for showing them off is from what I can tell an okay work around. Perhaps an inidivuals country also affect what kind of trouble they can get in so idk. Anyways how could they police a private release unless they got a spy which I'm pretty sure wouldn't be that easy if you were careful and only gave it to those that publicly tore apart the 2008 show. Alternativly you could use a secrete account to release the project under a different name.
At one point in time, I had planned to set up my own website for it (just one of those build your own website for free things)but after talking to a friend of mine who's mod I once did work for, strongly advised against me doing it.
