Just beat it - left me wanting more! The puzzle design was 1st class, I mean seriously, these felt like professional Half Life 2 puzzles, if not better. And that vehicle was awesome. A little awkward to control, but that stems from the underlying hl2 vehicle system would could use some improvement anyway. This is a definite must-play. It's short, but what high quality mod doesn't feel short. Nice work on the puzzles, they were truly great.
Ok I dunno whats up but I got the code for the keypad but it is impossible to get it to register the right numbers, no matter where I aim it hits the 3, even if the 3 is not on the screen... Every once in a while it will hit a different number but its way to sporadic to control and enter a 4 digit code... [edit nvm just saw the comment on the mod...will rate in a couple minutes]

I'm surprised. I still get emails about this tutorial, I don't think I would have expected that it would have helped so many people when I made it 4 years ago. Thanks to all the people who have left positive comments!

Because I just repeated the process and saw no reason to waste time and mbs.

I have used lots of disp maps and never gotten any errors. Either they went ridiculous, or else they forgot to put a solid mesh behind their map and got an error because of that.
any chance of you guys expanding the game to make it longer than 30 minutes?

nah, its dead. not even a model/map to show for it either. just a storyline that would've been pretty neat if we had actually pulled it off.
thanks, displacement maps came naturally to me. I'm glad I can pass off the knowledge to other mappers. :D
well, im sorry to announce at this time, the mod looks dead. there's a slight possibility otherwise, but...don't get your hopes up.
Glad you think so, and thanks to all watching this relativly new mod. Just to let you know, our mappers are hard at work producing, while, maps, and I am hammering hard away at the game script and ironing out the details. We have a modeler and animator also making some brilliant gun models. Its shaping up to something I don't think will dissapoint you. Again, thanks to all for showing interest in our mod.
