Still the best, one mod to rule them all!
Thanks for fixing all of that. Keep rolling out the great work guys.

From all these bugs posted, any timetable for 8.1 on the horizon?
Just curious as I was looking to try the mod once the bugs get ironed out.
Well I think you've beaten this horse to death by now. You've made your position on the matter well-known and then some. The developer has made clear they have no intention of reversing their position. Its their mod, and while it may be upsetting to you, there's nothing to stop you from rolling your own.
Might be a good time to finally move on from this DRM issue. You pretty much have two choices, either accept it or move along.
I think it might be time.. to get some sunshine.
Step outside, take a deep breath.. maybe some meditation might help. Step away from the keyboard for awhile, reconnect with nature.
No don't remove it! Because its fun trying, even if you can't get in.
Your vault is unique among all other mods, and unique is good. So you should roll with it. Why not make the vault an even more unique thing to this mod?
--Hide an actual entrance to the vault with a vent similar to the one in Alex office that can only be seen by mousing over it. Hide it in the ceiling somewhere, reachable only by stacking boxes, or somewhere players would never think to look. There's a small section of wall just above the bottom of the staircase, something like that. Whoever looks there?
--Entrance has 100% lock strength, 999% break strength. Passageway is pitch black thus will not show up using clipping, ghost etc. Players must fumble their way through with flares or pepper spray, etc. Concealed exit pops you out into the vault. A button on the inside opens the vault door briefly, then shuts. It can't be opened from the outside. Laser tripwires dot the area. Smuggler is paranoid after all.
--Each item sits on a pressure plate that does not reset. Touch ONE thing in the vault and alarms sound, with turrets revealing their presence behind walls using concealed turret behavior. Smuggler becomes permanently hostile to the player. In all, about two dozen turrets spawn throughout Smuggler's area, along with a half dozen peacebringer bots and two larger milbots stationed near the exit.
Fun.
Same bug happens when you meet Jaime in HK. Had an Aug upgrade in my pack and he kept dropping them at my feet.
The bugged Aug canisters that dropped were unusual in that they counted as 2 canisters each, even showing as such in the Aug tab as Count:2, but only one showed in the inventory pack.
Hope that helps to track the bug down.
If you have the Steam version, then congrats you've got the easy button. It updates automatically as long as you've got auto-updates enabled in Steam.
You can check the changelog file in ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Deus Ex\Revision\Help to see what version you've got. It might also be in the credits, don't know.
Yeah mantling pretty much changes everything in the game. The ability to hoist yourself up to any ledge or platform can't be understated, Athletics really is that good.
without cheating, anyone find a way yet to sneak into Smuggler's vault?
I tried convincing Smuggler to run into the vault to escape some grenades (and built a couch/box wall to herd him in there) but now I don't think its even a real door at all!
Bah! Nice mod tho.
