running mod with -ns option fixes the crash
Same problem with left seal boss (used to be Grand Vizier of Chaos): once spawned error occurs c0000005
Patch1.2a - cannot find key to tristram: Bosses in Land of evil drops either rare large charms or one of unique ones that give some stats or +1 skill. As for error c0000005 - switching D2SE launcher option for reduced colour mode off helped a bit.
Are there more options on how to deal with c00000005 error besides the method described in a notepad file? Because it don't work since v1.2
Lightning enchanted + fire enchanted combo on elite monsters is a real doozy. 75% fire resist + 75% lightning resist with 6k hp... i dont survive a single whirlwind. That combo needs to be nerfed.
Antivirus detects "ramnit.get" trojans when i try to check weapon runewords list. Anyone managed to open that file?
Also, whats up with cmd windows popping during launch of the game.
My sandboxie even crashed due to some sneaky exes trying to autorun...

Are set charms disabled? cube recipe Unique item + Full rejuv potion rerolls unique item,
Also cannot make Autolycus set (boots + light belt + quilted armor) merge into a set charm
Most times this issue is caused by having wrong skill on mouse1. Try default one - melee attack.
I got that error too. glide, windowed 800x600. D2 main folder in v1.13d, d2se set to comp WinXPservice3, was playing amazon.
Until that error i experienced no crashes but ive met few invisible enemies, d2pickup.dll didnt work.
That was on HU7. did not notice u released hu8, will try now.
I really like set charm idea. Sure, 10 aldurs charms might be OP, but its very fun :)
Not a fan of easy xp though. Getting level 99 is way too fast (from lvl 90 to 99 it takes several players8 secret cow level clears).
Hello, i have problem finding sets: in Normal i find it often, in nightmare less, and in hell only cow king drops same set everytime. I leveled 4 characters to lvl 100 and found 4 or 5 end game set items ( mavinas armor, ik boots/maul, trangs shield, aldurs helm). is there some secret area i can find more?
You cannot open them if you've assigned certain skills to attack buttons. I think any ranged attack (like throw, or multiple shot) or spell(blizzard, bone spirit etc.) wont work. Try it with basic attack.
Tried it with Content Update Mod(***), works ok - no problems. I copied Hirelings.txt from "Guild_-_The_Mercenary_Overhaul.1\data\global\excel" to "Content Update Mod1.5.7.1\Data\Global\Excel"
For some reason my hell barbarians are only available to hire with only 40 hp. level 60ish to 90, 40 hp. Is it possible to fix it at my end?
I think it has to do with killing Leoric in act1 cursed cathedral. My guess is that when you kill him, game counts that you killed cow king. I noticed big red "X" symbol in act 1 quest journal after i killed him.
Ive planned on making tesladin - conviction aura paladin with DREAM (Io Jah Pul) helm and shield. However dream recipe for shield doesnt work - it produces Dragon. And when i put both items on, the holy shock aura doesnt stack like it is supposed to: instead of having 15lvl + 15lvl = 30lvl holy shock aura, i have lvl 15 one. In battle.net those items produce lvl 30 holy shock aura, so i think theres a bug in this mod. Please fix
I created new character today, a sorceres. She cannot enter act3 via meshiff. Old saves can still play tho, they just have to avoid act3 town :). As for patch, this version changes maps and item icons right?
Entering act 3 either through meshiff or waypoint or town portal crashes the game
Hireling inventory seems bugged, cannot equip ring/amulet/gloves/boots/belt
the thing is... i was playing another mod before installing Is Alive. Stings maphack automatically minimised into hidden icons and sat there... About this mods compatibility with other maphacks.. didnt try any :)
Stings' Maphack of d2:lod v1.13c i've been running for another mod was causing this. Things got fixed once i turned a maphack off.

Could you explain how to do that? i tried to play online, but ~400ping makes it unpleasant experience (+ for some reason i could only use first 4x8 squares of inventory).
There is a bug with magic/rare item reroll:once item gets sockets it cannot be rerolled. Also, it would be awesome if you could add a recipe to make items ethereal.

Game crashes at the moment i double click "le royaume des ombres" in D2SE main window. Deleted mod from MODS folder, installed v2.0 then updated to v2.05 but same problem remains.
-Edit problem was with Glide. Once i chose D3D i was able to play.
There is a strange thing regarding guardian's class items: most of the time i find zakarum doublet or bracers it has either "judgment of virtue"
or "virtue energy" skills on. I'd say that is the case 8 times out of 10. Out of dozens of items ive found, only few times i saw "featherfoot grace" or some salut skill. However, i am yet to find a doublet with "aura of holy power" skill. +when i cube 4 random class runes, i tend to get guardian rune with "aura of holy power" - after i got 5 runes with that skill in a row i stopped combining. There is a chance that this was a lucky draw, but i think it might be a bug.
Other stuff: since i have a lot of gold i was trying to find gabling NPCs but couldnt do it. Are those coming in the future or is the "shadow realm" no place for irresponsible gambling :D?

From the upcoming updates a possibility of entering act3 was removed, yet we still gonna have to create new characaters as the old ones wont be playable in 2.04
My question is... will we have to start from scratch again when act3 becomes available?
Also, will "extra gold find" property be rendered obsolete with the upcoming gold acquiring modification?
