Yeah I had about 150 line infantry only about 20 meters away from another group of about 180. All mukets go off (with the three lines firing THROUGH each other all at the same time) and not a single casualty.

This mod is just sad and makes the game incredibly silly where a musket literally can't hit the side of a barn past 5 meters.

This is the solution you were probably looking for.

Create a text document in your KKND2 folder, then add the commands there, for me it's "KWIPv3 -width 2560 -height 1440 -thirty". Save it as whatever name you like, just make sure to add ".bat" at the end of it. The result is a batch-file that should run KWWIPv3 with the launch options you desire. After this you can make a shortcut and add it to your desktop and do whatever else you'd like for ease of access.

I run it at 30 frames because the framerate dictates how fast the game moves as well, so it makes it easier to get the original experience of how the game should be :)

It worked just fine. Just reinstalled a fresh steam version and installed this latest version. Noticed a weird thing. I played through the entirety of Santa Monica, now I got to Downtown and entered the Skyline Apartments buidling. Suddenly some props, including door handles are replaced by another prop. Right now it's replaced by a strange yellow container with a broom handle in it and a radioactive mark on it.

I've had this before, which caused me to reinstall, that time the props were replaced by some parts of a rusty oil barrel. But then I noticed during the tutorial. It doesn't make the game unplayable, just a very surreal experience with different props for door handles, other props and very often parts of ceiling lights.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I've noticed that the problem is actually fixable by just reloading the area.

It still says 10.2 UP in Galaxy. What it seems like it that I don't really have the patch at all. It crashes at the typical spot.

I updated hastily to 10.4 and it instantly solved the crash, but I'm unsure if I will be able to continue the game without problems. I've went out of the cave and spoken to LaCroix, didn't see anything that seemed out of place or looking strange.

Thanks for the tip nonetheless, I'll give it a try.

So is there no way of continuing a save? I was running the GOG version and it said it was patched to 10.2 UP, but for some reason it doesn't run automatically from the launcher, but runs the basic version (great setup there GOG..) Now I got to the infamous Bach cave and the game crashes every time on the boat.

I think you can disable all effects and such, you might also want to set the unit size to 1x. I think you can run it.

I'd like to know what exactly the difference is between ultimate early and ultimate late.. Does late have more "later" units that aren't available at all in the early?

What is the difference between the "ultimate" campaigns and the Grand campaigns?

Also, what the heck is uprising? How do I use it and what does it do!?

Okay. I still feel as if the infantry kill eachother too fast. It's very hard to get a squad back alive once you notice they are getting attacked unless you have them in heavy cover. That's just my opinion, infantry could use some more "lengthy" battles.

I played a bit, crashed sometimes, but not too often :). I understand, as long as it works fairly well without crashes the balance will come later. I'll post more about things I find strange in general.

Priests machine gun seems really strong, wipes most infantry it seems. But yeah, tanks haven't been touched.

And we are giving feedback, don't see why you felt the need to quote anything mate ;)

Tanks is the way to go, 120mm mortars are quite sweet though, if covered. Infantry is just too much of a bother. Some of the artillery could in my mind use a small cooldown reduction, might just be me though.

Also, it's if you choose the Waffen SS/Luftwaffe team, then go for luftwaffe, then choose the button to the right with.. fallschirmjägers then after that choose the one with a stug on the picture you get the devious "free" stugs, don't build those, those are the ones making the game crash.

Overall, I feel as if the infantry based lines, like the luftwaffe one with luftlande division and fallschirmjägers, have become too hard and ineffective, you will have to be extremely quick to be able to save your squad once you see the "infantry under attack" sign to the left.

Oh and yeah, the extremely small 7.5mm infanterie gun should have it's movement speed increased, it's so very very slow now :P

I'd like to point out that infantry should take a bit more damage. I just had a "green devils" squad get completely destroyed in a 1v1 with pathfinders.

Ranger squads with 6 bazookas, yeah they have no AT capabilities. Maybe you should just experiment more instead. Those ranger squads can easily screw your enemy by taking out that super expensive tank they just afforded. Thing is, the tanks cost quite much. Only AT the germans have are sad 3-man instakillable AT teams, not much else.
