most likely because one of you has a skinpack installed. Reinstall coh without skin pack and then install eastern front again. After that it should work
Hi, nice mod. pls add language support for all coh language versions (just copy the english descriptions into the other language .ucs files if you can't find a translator for the language).
It's the same with US m3 halftracks... They also survive 2 Tiger I shots. It's made that way for gameplay reasons. So light vehicles are not completely useless lategame.
So, what's the matter?
We're working on a fix currently.
just right click on your opposing fronts and company of heroes game link in hte library "show product key".
Then enter the product keys again on steam by "add game to steam list" -> "activate product key" and the relaunch 2.700 version will be available for download.
No, you need 2.700 to play Ostheer.
You don't need to buy it again. Just activate your CoH cd key on steam and you can download it for free.
Fatal scar error? Sounds like an AI problem. Best would be to post about it on www.easternfront.org/forums
Get CoH new steam version by activating your CoH 1 key on steam. The old servers were shut down in May of this year.
No. Just activate your ToV key on steam and gogo play it. If you don't have one: Buy ToV on steam for 12$.
Try updating your graphic card drivers. And if you're using "ultra" texture settings: reduce them to "high". All CoH mods get crashes regularely when using ultra texture settings, and nobody knows why :D
The thing is... The game itself is not bad, but they didn't make a successor to CoH 1. They changed too many elementary game elements and noobed the game down in terms of upgrades and such. A good successor takes the elements that were good already, and finetunes them + improves graphics and User interface, introduces a new game setting. CoH 2 is a completely new game. They ripped apart everything which made CoH 1 good and replaced it with different stuff.
Not without a huge effort. Just activate your key on steam. The 2.700 doesn't cost anything extra. And if you don't own CoH legally just buy it on steam, it's like 12$ for tales of Valor or 8$ for normal CoH (I'd take Tales of Valor though).
On onlder PCs starting up eastern front may take a while. If there doesn't happen anything for over 2 minutes you've probably installed Eastern Front into the wrong folder. It has to be installed into C:/program files(or whereever you installed steam)/Steam/Steamapps/common/company of heroes relaunch.
Yes. Mods work independant from each other.
It only works with the Company of Heroes: New Steam Version. Get steam from www.steampowered.com. Then you can simply activate your original disk CD key there in the game library. Then you can download it and after that you can install and play Eastern Front in skirmish.
He's referring to Mono's Africa maps that he posted on the EF forums I guess.
Just open your launcher, click "options" and choose the game path manually.
2.100 requires CoH version 2.700 (so called 'New Steam Version'). You can get it by activating your Company of Heroes CD keys on steam.
