First Launch takes quite a while. So be Patient. Sometimetimes it's several minutes.
This patch will always be useable. All it does is replacing one single file that is incompatible to 2.602. The file always Needs to be updated to the vCoH patches. And since 2.602 will not be patched anymore you can always use this fix to make EF run with 2.602. :)
Happens most of the time when playing on "Ultra" texture Setting and/or with no popcap mode. Try Setting texture Details to "high" and do not Play no popcap mode.

Do you play annihilation/no pop cap mode?
usually one problem leads to another. Also, the technical support forum contains FAQs which may help you at fixing the problem quickly without help.
I don't know which game you're playing, but I really think you couldn't be more wrong. The SU 100 IS better armoured than the SU 85, and its gun is more powerful than a Panther gun.
Also, the IS 2 is pretty much the strongest allied tank in the game, goes on par with Pershings, Panthers and Tigers. This is CoH, not world of tanks.

Try saving it with a different Name + .exe ending (so the Computer knows which type of file it is) like "eastern_front_install.exe" instead of just "eastern_front_install".
Yes, we're sorry about the size. The problem is that we always put so much stuff in each version that we can't just publish small patches. The next version updates will be smaller though.
The IS 2 will get some mobility nerfs with the next patch, don't worry.

You only need this patch if you want to play with Tales of Valor 2.602. If you`re playing with the new steam version you do not need this patch.
Nope. It's just that modeling & animating takes time. Quite a bit of time. We're also eager to release the patch to public :)

Pro tip of the day: install the 2.602 compability patch and you can play EF with 2.602.
It's only needed if you want to play Eastern Front using Tales of Valor 2.602. If you want to use steam version (company of heroes relaunch) you do NOT need this patch...

You haven't even played both the new EF version and CoH 2 : Western Front yet. How would you know that already? :P
Nope. We're working to finalize everything as fast as possible, but as usual we say "it's done when it's done". But I can assure you that it's well worth to wait for it ;)
This can happen if you play CoH in window mode and you move the window around. Then the screen will change black when flamer weapons/explosions are shown on the screen. You can fix that if you play in full screen (press alt+enter to switch between window/full screen).
It's a problem that normal CoH also suffers from. Hope it helps you to fix the problem :)
Because the Wespe in the release arrives very early (earliest artillery in the game at 4 cammand points). Every other artillery comes at least 1 cp later.
If you unlock the last slot on the right side the range is increased to "real" artillery levels.
But well, the Wespe will be reworked for the next patch anyways to work like a "real" CoH artillery. ;)
Still in, but the concept has been reworked. Pool switching is more expensive now, but the pool units have now been changed. The pools are now built to fit your playstyle instead of forcing you to keep switching them ingame.

The Panzer IV from Ostheer uses Panther ammunition (= armour piercing shells). Wehrmacht Panzer IV uses high explosive shells.
So Ostheer Panzer IV = better penetration vs. tanks. Wehrmacht panzer IV = larger explosion = better vs. Infantry.
Same counts for Ostheer Tiger I.
Also, Panzer IVs can camouflage and have a large range to compensate. Plus Elefant/Tiger/Panthers are just as strong or even stronger than Wehrmacht antitank-weapons.
