New version with a lot of improvements.
Update 06/09/2017 : fixed map size for hosting in multiplayer
To play Bloodelves select Human with 90% handicap pre game
To play the Fel Horde select Orc with 90% handicap pre game
Main differences:
Bloodelves use a unique trait of being able to absorb magical energies from enemy and neutral units using "Mana Tap". Also, the base defense mechanics were improved. Arcane Patrollers now use an Energy resource that keeps them active. If they move away from Arcane Cores they shutdown when their energy is depleted. They can be infused with Powercores that keep their energy charged.
Mana shields and multi attacks are gone - except for Rangers with Whistling Bows upgrade (Windweavers were renamed to Rangers).
The Fel Horde receives a unique trait aswell: The fountain of Blood fuels on the rage of war, storing energy inside that can be used to heal allied units when they return to the fountain.
Also, a lot of improvements were made to unit performance and overall spell performance. The map should run smoother than in previous versions.
The "old" races receive a new hero each.
Human: Thane - a furious Dwarven Warrior riding a gryphon.
Orc: Troll Berserker - a powerful ranged warrior who deals increasing damage when loosing health.
Undead: Darkfallen - an undead Bloodelf who is adapt at weakening enemy units and summoning ghosts.
Nightelves: Druid of the Wild - a shapeshifting warrior hero who excels at dealing and taking damage.
Also, each race received an addional, powerful unit.
Human - Captain. A melee warrior that can rally nearby units
Orc - Troll Voodoo Priest. A mage that has various spells to strengthen Horde units
Undead - Decaying Colossus. A massive Golem that permanently decays.
Nightelves - Enchantress. A supportive spellcaster that debuffs enemy units.
On top of that each race receives new technologies. Also, expansion is made easier, Main Halls are constructed faster and are cheaper. This allows better economic expansion, which is important because the Upkeep system was tweaked. It now features 3 levels - low upkeep (40 food - 20%), medium upkeep (60 food - 40%), high upkeep (90 food - 60%). The overall food maximum was raised to 110.
Will the mod work only on this map of I can use it on any different map?

only on this map at the moment. I'm planning to make Menace from Outland a "full" mod. Until that is the case I'll publish a variety of 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 maps for MFO.

This happens from time to time. If you order another peon to build it it works. I haven't found the cause for this yet.

i could not find a section of how to put this in the game, how would I do that?
Menace from outland is integrated in the map.
So in order to play it, just download the map, put it in your maps folder and you can play it with Warcraft III : Frozen Throne version 1.24 or higher.
I put the file into my maps but it isn't showing up in my game. Any advice?
probably wrong game version I'd guess. This requires 1.24b or higher to play. Alternatively the path is too long. wc3 only recognizes up to 255 string length I think. If the name of your programs/wc3 folder/maps/MFOmap is longer it won't show up.
Great mod tho when i try to play with my friend and try to create LAN game its says map size too big... how do i repair that? And one more thing when i try to heal my units with avenger (via restauration) it doesn't heal them but overall great mod props
That's because the map is bigger than 8mb in this version, so it doesn't work in network unfortunately.
But the full mod works in multiplayer, but you need to install.
It's fully compatible to regular wc3 aswell, so you can just install and play both the mod and hte normal warcraft 3 games with it.
