Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't even get close to winning with this mod. I've had runs where I've upgraded virtually everything but it doesn't seem to matter when they hack your rooms and CC your crew for an eternity.

I don't have any trouble winning in vanilla ADV on normal. But with this mod I get stomped 10 seconds into the first flagship phase lol.

I don't suppose there is a way to add skillpoints to a companion?

I took my wife as a companion but she is at a major skillpoint deficit. She started only 2 skillpoints. I don't want to artificially level her as it doesn't really fix the issue.

For anyone having issues getting this to run, make sure you have it set to run as administrator.

Just recently come back to the game. Nothing changed, installed or uninstalled yet this hotkey script refused to work. It worked fine last time I played. I set it to admin and it's now working.

Didn't change anything for the game or the program since last I played so I am not sure why this problem manifested.

About time someone realized the awesome potential this game has. I would have paid 10x the price just to play Metro 2033 in an open world setting.

Don't care that much about quests but just having the freedom to explore that dark mysterious world gives me chills. The combat and gunplay in that game is like Fallout 4 on steroids.

These days it makes me sad to play it because it so good yet so short. It's over before it really begins. I want to survive, hunt and endure in the cold dark metro tunnels. Oh man, please tell me this will release before I die!

Looks fantastic. Two small questions if I may:

You mention that it is not compatible with unique story flagged NPC's. Would it be possible to amend this restriction for certain NPC's, like that of Saharov? I suppose I would have to first work out how to give him armour.

Also, will companions/NPC equip artefact modules given the suit supports it?

Maybe I messed something up. I installed Dynamic_Armor_Visuals and Npc_Loot_Armour_Patch, but in Warfare this disables NPC looting altogether.

I tried trading a suit to a fellow faction member but forgot they don't buy items below 50% durability threshold. They also don't have enough roubles to buy repaired armours.

How do you repair cars? Lucas' shop isn't open anymore. Does it really force you into using invulnerable cars? Managing vehicle damage was a key part of freeride and now it is gone?

After some research it appears the money serves a real purpose. Funny that I loaded my old freeride save and it doesn't update the kill bounty in an existing save so you only get $500 per kill.

This means you have to engage in non-stop mass-scale genocide just to make a few thousand profit. I kind of like it and hate it. It would have been cool if the money downtick paused in certain area's so you can do stuff like park cars admire them and repair/refuel.

I went on a maximum efficiency killing spree for 20 minutes and lost all the money just by parking two cars and looking at the map for a bit.

My own fault for using my old save I guess. But that save is special, I have a bugged gangster car that is stuck in a boosted performance state. Basically it's stuck in the radically fast drive-mode that Police and Gangsters use to chase you. Fast and good to drive. Very rare. Have a lot of history with that save. Thousands of guns on the streets with stockpiles on every corner.

I feel like the often terrible dubbing detracts more than it adds. Save for the main character and maybe Alf, the VA is atrocious, to the point it would be better with just subtitles. There is no emotion in the delivery of the voice acting. More worrying is a total mismatch of character and voice profile. The boss mafioso sounds like a teenage wimp, and not in a good way.

I'm surprised that such a high calibre mod hasn't attracted more talent in that department. I would do it myself but I have a thick Australian accent so it wouldn't work at all.

Both mission and plot structure aren't terribly coherent imo. It seems mostly arbitrary and doesn't flow very well. The missions aren't grand enough in scale and depth to warrant investment or interest. I think the only saving grace there is the scope of connectivity to other areas.

I'm just finding it hard to be immersed in the story when the writing and VA is so low quality. Mission quality isn't exactly blowing me out of the water either.

Don't take this as a complaint. This is just honest feedback. The mod is very ambitious and I respect and appreciate the work that went into it.

I feel like it would have been better to focus attention on missions and plot continuity even if it meant subtitling everything. Covering too much at once without any budget to support it will leave holes everywhere.

I just installed this mod and went to Freeride, but Tommy has $2,000,000.. Is there a Freeride mode where you start with nothing? It's just that I would get a lot more joy earning that money myself like regular Freeride.

Also something strange happened. My gun had 50/400 bullets when I started but it reverted back to 50/200 when I picked a up ammo. Not sure how normal that is.

I saw Sarah at the hospital but could not interact with her or the ambulance. She kills people if they get too close.

Maybe I need to install that 18 version ontop of this one to fix bugs? I saw the release date for v.18 is much earlier than v.16. That's a bit weird lol.

I have tried removing the RU file and even both files but nothing changes. My game version is 1.0

Looks really cool, Mike. I'm hoping to find more chaos/action in Freeride mode. Normal Freeride is not dangerous enough. Hope this mod will cure that.

I saw on your website there is Alive mod? Which version would you recommend, Alive Bars or Alive mod?

Looks very cool. Can I ask if there are any enemies spawned in these new locations, or are they just empty spaces?

I've been on the hunt for a mod that adds some chaos to Freeride. It's disappointing that the most you ever encounter are 2-4 enemies at a time in normal Freeride.

Was hoping maybe these areas have been fleshed out with spawns, possibly the same that occurs in the mission instances of these areas.

Also I did read above that the map is contiguous without loading. Would it be safe to assume this will become a problem at high levels of Freeride progression?

In my current Freeride I have amassed several million and have thousands of weapons littering the city. I imagine this will only compound the strain on the engine possibly to breaking point. I only say this with the consideration that you might release a version using level loading as to avoid the stress.

While I haven't played the mod yet, I don't think seamless biomes add that much value to the experience and likely aren't worth the performance and stability taxation considering most run SSD typically yielding 1-2 second load screen.

Not sure what happened but the AI get very timid once I installed this mod. It actually feels a lot easier than vanilla AI. It seems I could handle 10 elite AI simply because they don't attack consistently.

Better to have 4 AI that are super aggressive imo.

Not sure exactly what happened with my install. Turns out that sim_squad_Scripted was missing from the scripts folder.

I think I may have removed a few scripts as Warfare was chunking a lot which I suspected was due to scripts. From what I can tell it made the game run much smoother, but now I can't even remember what is supposed to be in there.

Restoring the file above worked but it seems the chunking is back.

Ahh no probs. I'm very surprised how few people have picked up on this amazing tool. Their loss I would say. This was a game-changer for me. If only I had found it sooner lol.

I used to have to click 500 times every time I wanted to extract an army out of garrison, so as not to disturb the hierarchy and similarly take prisoners by the thousands, very, very slowly.

This is tonnes better than PoP's own hotkeys. I never found much use for those- they are cumbersome at best and still rely on back and forth mousing and clicking the dreaded Give/Take button.

Shame I can't rate this mod. It needs more exposure for sure. Thanks again man!

PS. Unless there is something wrong on my end, perhaps the stipulation in the description of running either application should be edited. On my end it only works when Party_assign is opened. I was a bit confused by that initially.

Okay, this tool is fantastic! It makes life soooooo much easier.

I was seriously starting to lament having to constantly mouse back and forth while grooming my militia patrols- something I have to do basically everyday to flush peasant troops out to keep their speed up.

I think I know why it failed to work initially. For some reason it only works when opening party_assign. Party_give, while active on the desktop does not work in-game for me.

Fabulous idea but I can't get it to work.

I run the Give script and it's running, but nothing happens when I press any of the keys with a troop selected.

This is for PoP 3.95 if that matters. I know they have their own hotkeys, none of which do this particular function. Perhaps a conflict?

Edit:

Nvm. It was either windows being lame or a conflict with Afterburner. Worked after a restart and without Afterburner.

I wouldn't care so much about this mechanic, but a lot of the time when your weapon drops, it either flings through a wall, through the floor and/or gets immediately vacuumed up by the AI seemingly before it even hits the ground. That and it's always fun when the enemy punches you through concrete walls.

Now if there was only a definitive solution for getting stuck inside AI collision bubbles.

Anyway, thanks a lot for this. Shall give it a try.

Lol, yeah I can imagine. That sucks about the pricing and availability. I'd sooner look into buying a cheap used card off Ebay. Surely someone is selling something that could serve as an upgrade.

If I had a spare card I would happily donate it, the only other card I have is a gtx980 which has a defective heatsink mount and is held together with zip ties. I would give that but it's my only fallback if my 2070 decides to fail.

That's the problem with high-end cards, they just don't last. Literally every single card I've ever bought died after a few years.

30fps in DX8 is surely a dire situation though. Hope you find something to replace it. :)

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure. I do know that Warfare by itself creates a high demand for CPU resources, as does Story mode with spawn mods or tweaked spawns.

I did play the game in DX9 for a few years due to older versions of Anomaly not being optimized too well. But have since switched to DX11 and I honestly cannot tell any difference in both visuals and performance lol.

One thing is for sure, you need to get rid of that 710 lol.
