Our story takes place in early 1920's. That means 10 years before story of first Mafia. Story is looking at leading of Don Peppone. The goal of our modification is to show that Don Peppone was not just a character on the list. It was somebody, who ruled the city of Lost Heaven without big enemies. Whoever crossed his path had never heard of him again. His right hand and left hand were Ennio Salieri and Marcu Morello. But every story has it's own RISE and FALL.

I often don't update the ModDB page. But the day has come again. Our site has undergone a minor design change, I hope you like it. I come with a small announcement if you don't follow our social networks. This month we will be releasing a small (in fact bigger...) addition to our modification.

About the Pre-Fall Modifications:
Rise and Fall brought a lot of questions and new stories, thanks to its unique characters. In the Pre-Fall modifications you have the opportunity to play as them and experience their side of story. More specifically, Story of William Taylor will contain 11 new chapters, new characters and of course features.
First Pre-Fall has already been released in March 2023, but it is currently unavailable due to modification maintenance and minor upgrades, it will be released here on ModDB in the future.
However, I must warn you for the future!
Pre-Falls are not fully compatible with Rise and Fall (New texts, new save systems, new loadings...) , but you need to have Rise and Fall installed and Pre-Fall folder content in the Rise and Fall folder and of course IN MAFIA FOLDER!
A few more Pre-Falls are planned, but stay tuned, i can't talk about it right now!

We're pretty proud of what we've done. Work on Rise and Fall is still ongoing, and we can already tell you that there's a lot to look forward to. We've managed to create a 6GB modification, and that number is growing all the time. I think we are behind the creation of the biggest modification for Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. We look forward to seeing you play again!

The mod is good but how can I fix the autoservice to apear in China town in chapter 7
I am very sorry for the late response. We didn't count on this bug at the beginning. It is due to the fact that the model is named with a letter that Czech language has. It's letter "Š" I would try changing the system language to Czech. We will focus on this bug and it will be fixed in the final part.

Where can I find the correct file to download the mod?
I feel like the often terrible dubbing detracts more than it adds. Save for the main character and maybe Alf, the VA is atrocious, to the point it would be better with just subtitles. There is no emotion in the delivery of the voice acting. More worrying is a total mismatch of character and voice profile. The boss mafioso sounds like a teenage wimp, and not in a good way.
I'm surprised that such a high calibre mod hasn't attracted more talent in that department. I would do it myself but I have a thick Australian accent so it wouldn't work at all.
Both mission and plot structure aren't terribly coherent imo. It seems mostly arbitrary and doesn't flow very well. The missions aren't grand enough in scale and depth to warrant investment or interest. I think the only saving grace there is the scope of connectivity to other areas.
I'm just finding it hard to be immersed in the story when the writing and VA is so low quality. Mission quality isn't exactly blowing me out of the water either.
Don't take this as a complaint. This is just honest feedback. The mod is very ambitious and I respect and appreciate the work that went into it.
I feel like it would have been better to focus attention on missions and plot continuity even if it meant subtitling everything. Covering too much at once without any budget to support it will leave holes everywhere.
