I have had Stalkersoup sat in my h/d for a few months now, and recently had a quick chat with Tecnobacon about actually starting to play through it, I had been waiting for the patch which enabled the auto updater function on the loading splash screen to work. He e-mailed his latest patch 110009 and said that his next patch 110010 would be the one that enabled the updater function.
In readiness I gave it a quick a playthrough and completed that damned cave sequence, which is as far as I have gone.
I did use Fraps to record this part of the game but I am having some trouble with the voice recording part, my voice keeps cutting in and out, no idea what is causing that because it works fine on Call of Chernobyl, I will speak to Tecnobacon to see what might cause that.
It has it's own unique look, some parts look stunning and some just look a bit a meh, but it is still early days, I will get back to you with any news as it develops.
Finishing the cave is as far as I've gone in any People's Soup mod. I don't know, after that madness it always hit me that I'd be better off spending my time with more compact story mods.
However, since the latest big build update (I think it came out of beta), which has the graphical addons and a bunch of other options, my interest was reignited.
I agree that STALKERSOUP is absolutely huge. Must be super difficult to keep track of all the stuff in it. There are bound to be differences in quality in certain places.

hey man i have the 110008 version installed and when i see bandits and military they start to run away from me instead of fighting,do you know a fix for this?

I've always been interested in starting a STALKERSOUP playthrough but I'm not sure if it's worth the time investment.
