Well, I have send Loner a mail about but no response :(

Have reverted to an older Driver for now and it is a bit better now (331.93 BETA). The most stable latest Driver for the X-Ray imo.

But I really want to know what's causing this. Some say that it will happen with little Mods or even Vanilla STALKER too.

I'm pretty sure that it have to do with the Memory handling of the Engine itself. This would be bad because it would be only fixable by a developer Patch itself.

Or you need to cut down some content via X-Ray SDK or other tools like DDS optimizer.

I just read your post and something came back to me, I remember having a discussion about memory handling with Ket from TK Build last year. Here is the advice he gave me then:
" Increase your pagefile limit ;) Regardless of how much physical RAM you have X-Ray still likes to use the pagefile. Its when you run out of space in the pagefile X-Ray will end up crashing. Increasing your pagefile to 512MB (min) and expandable to 4096MB (max)"

Hmm, I thought about that but with 16GB RAM the pagefile will automatically be set to the value 16314 MB.

Windows itself recommend the value 24471 MB.

But I found nearly nothing in the Net about a reliable value regarded to a 16GB RAM Kit. Some say disable it by 16GB.

Thanks for the input, its true, i remember that there was some problems with the X-Ray and pagefile. I will test that out.

Complete 2009, with only added "extras" from mods made by members of the 100 Rads Bar, so no prizes for guessing that this contains elements from AA2 (weathers and levels) - Vandrerer, TK Build (textures) - Ket, PRZ 2 (textures) & PPx (particles etc) - LoNer1
It's only early on, so there may be problems ahead, but it sure don't look like Stalker Complete anymore.

The textures used really add to the feeling of a dark and dangerous place I reckon.

I have just made some small weapon sounds improvements courtesy of LoNer1, he has just released a weapon sound upgrade for OWR CoP, I have taken out the ones I can use and ported them over to this merge.
