Well yes I like both BFME's and thought of them while I wrote my post, but as they're of RTS genre they don't really use the potential of Tolkien world except for showing stunning visuals and epic battles, but those are mainly borrowed from the movies. LOTRO, meh, generic MMO game that didn't really appail to me since I had already got bored with WoW when trying it out, and it didn't bring anything special. Guess some people like it though, being f2p and all.

It is sad that the two best LOTR games ever made (TLD and MERP in the future) are done by modders while the bigger companies would have all the licenses and resources to create a truly epic Middle Earth experience, but they won't since it's so easy to milk money out of people with mediocre games like War in the North as long as you have the flashy Lord of the Rings logo on the box.

Keep it up and remember that by creating this mod you're doing a way bigger service to the passionate Tolkien fan community than any of the million-dollar companies who possess the official LOTR licenses ever have or ever will do! :)

Is Battle of Hornburg planned to be featured on the first Rohan release? :)

Thanks, the forces of darkness just started to march upon the free peoples >:D but another question, when the war started I initially declined the Elrond's call to arms(i'm a dunedain)because I was so far away and had been doing Gondor quests for a while now, but after Gandalf rode to me and told me to go see Elrond I decided to go anyways. But Elrond had nothing special to him, just the normal dialogue options. Am I stuck or am I going to have a new chance to join a campaign?

Hey, sorry for stupid question but I just recently began playing this mod and I'm wondering how long it usually takes for the war to start? I'm on day 25 and mostly i've been just running around carrying letters :) just wondering at what point I should start being worried about having installed the game wrong!

Will you include legendary battles like Siege of Minas Tirath etc and will you, when playing as Frodo, be able to decide for example to take the Ring to Gondor?
