the versionnumbers are backwards, so 480 is newer than 499. the lates version is 469.

Since you like the Models, go check out Cold war Crisis ( Moddb.com ). Middle East conflict 2 uses lots of our Content without permission. So if you wanna have some fun on the Battlefield with well designed units, download and play CWC ;) ... cuz this Mod won't use our stuff any longer.

since everyone is far too busy with private live, we wont work on any other projekt in the future. our moding days are over. it was a real fun rollercoster ride with CWC, but everything good needs to come to an end one day. for me it was the day I finished my last skin/texture (leo2) for CWC.

BIG THX to everyone who supported us through the years. I hope you guys will still enjoy playing CWC!

469 is the latest Version.

the Bundeswehr was planned as a part of the "European Alliance (EA)" - but since we stopped the development of the EA, we wont see the bundeswehr in CWC.

For us CWC is finished. We wont add new units. I think you guys can understand that after 7 years we set our focus on our private lives (studies/work/family). We are proud that so many people enjoy CWC, but live goes on. Every modder who wants to mod CWC is welcome to give it a shot.

it's done ...

well as i said before "AFAIK it's not possible" ... that doesn't mean that i'm right ;) ... i was responsible for the gephics, textures, icons etc., so i might be wrong about the limitations of the engine.

and btw., i say "was" because the entire team stopped modding CWC in 2008. our coder & mapper are just kindly enough to supply small updates & bugfixes. so don't expect any hughe updates for CWC like a new sidebar, no matter if it is possible or not.

nope, I just spend my work on CWC. all CWC textures, icons, etc. were done by me for CWC. I'm not interessted to work for other mods and I never will ;).

that's not cuz I love CWC that much that I don't wanna work for other mods. It's simply that I don't care about other C&C projects that much and I will probably quit modding in the near future.

but I would like to know what stuff you've might seen from me for other mods!

about the maps ... we won't convert the old ZH maps, it's up to the community. and I think there will be a few guys who wants to convert the maps to CWC maps.

THX TVC15! but don't thank me I'm the 2d artist, I'm resposible for the graphics (textures, cameos, icons, videos). You should thank the whole team, especially 2132222 and sgt.skleni. without these 2 guys we had nothing to release ;)

about the maps ... right now there are no 6 or more player maps for CWC. but there will be a mapping tutorial out soon that will explain everything needed to create or convert the maps you like for CWC.

and about the turteling...thats what we wanted to achive ;)

did you install the ZH patch 1.04? cuz you need to patch ZH first

the guys over at cnchq.de had the chance to preview our last internal beta release. since the preview is in german it's not that interesting for the most of you guys, but you might be interested in the videos they've put online.

THX for you comment! ... hoping for good gamedesign job is nice, but no CWC Teammember wants to work in this buiss. this really is just a damn freetime project ;)

we never promised a release on march 31... also modDB is not our main page, so you should visit www.cold-war-crisis.de to get the latest news!

and like I said 10000000000000000000 times before: If you can't wait, go and play something else. we create this mod in our free time, all of our members go to colleges or go to work for the whole day. we don't have unlimited free time to work on this project. If our skinner has to work on projects for college, there wont be any progress in the skinning department. If our coder has to work for the next 2 weeks, he wont be available for coding during this time - this is called live!!! we are between 20-27 years old, we got families and relationships to take care of! how the f**** can you say we owe you any answers, releases etc.

If you can't take this as an answer, you are free to leave this page and join other games/mods. CWC is basicly for us and our fans, and our true fans can wait, cuz they know how hard modding is.

A good mod takes time, and our mod is the most balanced ZH mod ever. you guys will get a high quality mod for free, so stop bullshitting us with comments like that.

we cancled the EU side over a year ago. we don't have the time to create it and we wont even after a CWC release... however the are some guys in our community who wanna start the "CWC Europe Mod" for CWC. So if you wanna get some infos about a possible EU side, join our forum and ask these guys! they got a CWC Europe subforum there.

nope ... our timeframe is 1980-89

no I cant tell you, cuz we work on CWC in our free time! that means we only work on CWC when we got time to do so, therefore I can't tell ya exactly when we r going to relese it!
Every teammember is super busy with there private stuff (college, work...), but we r pretty close to a first public release. Our goal is a '07 release, and right now it looks like we COULD make it.
We work on this project over 3 1/2 years now, i guess you guys can wait another 1 or 2 month.
and if you can't, well ... that's not our problem...

so be patient or play something else ;)

nothing was ever done or will be done for the european alliance ... the EA was canceled long ago! and the EA and the russian language are no reasons for the slowdown in the progress.

we are a damn small team, andRL is demanding more and more time, these are the main reasons!

but CWC is NOT dead, so stay tuned or play something else...
