Maybe he can change the left side of steps to a ramp to make it more believable. :)
I like the beams. It makes the hallway look more dynamic.
The lighting in this pic really brings it to life. The realism shows with the light shining on the '2B' sign. It just looks beautiful. :D
The irony of your avatar...
I'm beginning to think there is more to this than the training process... But that is a good thing in my mind! :D
Ah, I see. Now I remember! :D
I this the place before the first Licker is encountered?
I remember this place very well. :D
I agree with this. I like when weapons have recoil because it makes it feel more powerful and realistic.
Very nice! :D As the others have said... it looks a lot more than a simple Half-Life 2 mod. Really looking forward to it!
Very nicely detailed! I like raised panel design on the walls. Looking forward to this! :D
Wouldn't it be pretty cool if there was "time" involved in this game? I'm not saying where the sun goes by fast, but gradually so it shows changes in shadows. Or even... adding "wind" to make the shadows from the trees move. Eh... that's asking a lot but would be nice to see anyway. :)
This is some nice lighting as well as the scare factor!
I have to agree. Maybe they can add some sort of "angled glare" to suit the style. Otherwise, the whole thing looks great.
I think you mean Nightmare House 2? :)
This is a really nice pic! It looks realistic and I like the soft shadows depicted on the wall.
Looks decent. A bit repetitive and the lighting seems too bright. At least we know it's still around though. :)
Natural environments always look very pretty in games. :)
I like how it's perfect with the tiles. I'm a sucker for perfection in brush work. :D
Nice props. :)
The pump station looks very cool :) I like the atmosphere in that pic.
The ambiance in the room looks really good. I'm actually a fan of dark areas with subtle light.
I played the beta version of this and I found it to be a bit difficult... but it did keep my interest. I will have to give the full version a go now. :)
Looks nice. I like how it shows the shallow and deep areas through the clear water. Must look really cool in motion. :)
I like the effect, but I think the "blur effect" could be more gradual instead of just popping in.
This one is a more obvious depth of field compared to the other pic. Is there a way you can get this on video? I'm interested in it. :)
I hope you don't give up on this mod like a lot of others. This looks very promising! It's so mysterious... yet I wanna go on an adventure in this mod! Keep it up! :)
The lighting looks so realistic in this pic... I actually thought it was real for a moment.
This whole game looks mysterious... so maybe his intention is to have each pic mysterious.
A video of this would be nice. :)
I read the same thing! Until I saw "WIP" at the end, THEN I was like "phew"!
It's actually from both. Resident Evil 3 was happening during some point of Resident Evil 2.
I have to agree. Even with the top criss-cross structure looks a bit bland. Maybe he can add a top and bottom rail to give it depth and for the upper structure a few beams to give it a fuller look. Otherwise, I like it! :)
DEM SHADOWS! :D
This game gives off more anticipation with each update on pics. :)
Looks nice. It's very detailed as well. Is there any particular purpose this will have in-game?
Very clear and very nice lighting. :)
Do you have SDK 2013 installed? That should solve your problem.
Very pretty looking colors! You should probably change the green trees on the right to the same as the ones on the left.
WIP? Already looks finished to me!
Looks great with all of the detail of the shadows. It looks like you're missing some branches and the leaves are "floating". Other than that... I'm impressed. :)
I like the two-tone brick texture. :)
The shadowing. o_O
Judging from the pics... there's not too much detail. But I do see that it's a very early WIP mod. I'll be tracking to see how things come along. Besides, I'm into horror-themed mods. :)
Well... to be honest, I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to be seeing here.
This is not even the finished product? I couldn't even begin to imagine the quality once it's done!
You guys seem to know what you doing. When you put the concept art next to in-game pictures, it looks exactly how it should. Really looking forward to this!
If you need some more inspiration for the over-the-shoulder theme... check out Resident Evil 4's type.
The shadowing on the building really makes it stand out!
Music reminds me of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. :D
I like the sharp quality of the gloves.
I'm really liking this pic! Especially the "Diner" sign. But I was wondering, is the top of the "R" supposed to be faded out like that? Anyway, looks fantastic!
That's good news! I'm actually excited to have those "horror moments" when playing the game just like the original.
