GAH! It is all in Spanish (or some derivative of it). I will have to give this a look. We have a few hosting options available right now but extras are always good.

As with Ironwarrior's post, we are releasing here soon. A problem has been brought to my attention that 7zip is not able to be used by everyone. While in our testing it does provide the best compression, what other formats can be used as an alternative? We can distribute in an arc file using Freearc.

We are looking into a torrent. We prefer not to split up the archives because in our experience, it seems to increase the likelihood of data corruption. We will have a torrent up eventually.

I understand it may not be the case, but it is where the mod is at currently.

I do not know what sort of hardware you have, but some members of the team do not even had a dual core processor and they are able to load it before three hours. Long before. I believe the longest (i have not actually timed it) was 20 minutes. We will have much more information when release comes later in the coming week.

It is possible just will not be that way at first. We will consider it after alpha release.

7zip is being used. The download should be around 3 gigs. So about 43 gigs are needed for extraction. More exact numbers when it is available.

Even in HD view, I can read it but feel the strain on the eye.

We are working on them diligently. As far as I know, we are adhering to the list above. We may need to adjust it towards release due to some difficulties we have had, but we will try our best.

It is doing well. Most of the mod team is tied up in some sort of project at the moment.

I do not believe that that particular event will be represented in our mod.

We have ways to shrink it considerably, but the mod will take a large chunk out of your available hard drive space.

Not to worry though. It will be a reasonable download.

First of all I would like to say we appreciate that everyone feels like they can post what they truly think. Criticism is a great way to give the team some introspect. But I would like to ask that posts that convey negative connotations about the team, which is working very hard to bring you this mod, to be withheld. It is, as IronWarrior has stated, unproductive. We do have a plan for release but we do not need the pressures of a timeframe to stop the work on these innovative features you so much would like to see. For if we did, these features may not even exist.

We had many who said we could not make destructible terrain. We did think much of it at the time, but more and more people kept on insisting that it could not be done. If we had listened to them, this feature would not be in our mod.

While it is true that we could release the mod now, as stated previously, we are not going to. It is a small team and a release is a big undertaking by those who are involved. We are trying to get the basics in place before we release it so we do not have to focus on new content. Just refining the materials we already included. We want to bring you the best!

In the end, all we wish for is for you to participate in helping us keep the comments constructive. We are glad to answer any questions and hope to see you around.

It will be and is a current problem. Our main goal it to reach a point for a public alpha then we can focus on more Quality-of-Life changes for the mod.

Ah, good thing I am not being hunted. But that sol corrupted guy sounds like a bad egg.

We will definitely be doing so. We are still working on the mod though real life does put a strain on moving straight to release. We will try to upload even more, but please do be patient.

This I completely agree with. Though it is something that will be counted as "polish" to the mod. Right now, scripting and models are the primary focus. IronWarrior will post here if I am incorrect.

It may have been a possibility for IronWarrior, But I believe I am tolerant to its effects like the Tau.
