An anti-theist in a time of mass-enlightenment via the internet and superstition's initial stages of total structural collapse. In these alone I cannot mark myself a revolutionary but at the same time cannot help but find kinship with those of revolutionary flavor.

If God didn't love us as the Father he is then He would not punish our wrongdoing just as any loving parent would. God doesn't need money, He commanded the offerings to pay for the upkeep of the temple and the churches following and to help pay the wages of the people who work at the churches and temple. George Carlin's statement was just another example of ignorance and hateful bigotry. I wish I could say 'may he rest in peace' but, peace shall not be found by the non-believer. Only torment shall be found by the wicked. That includes so called "christians" that use their religion as an excuse to fuel hatred. God said to "love thy neighbor as you love yourself".

I see you believe peace will only be found in the afterlife, here's the thing about that, its a mental trick!
Plan a vacation, science has proven people are happier on the week leading to the vacation than actually on it, Its making you anticipate the afterlife so you are happier now.
Now, I am no fan of Christianity in particular (fascism's little brother) but still.
Great, I'll enjoy my time in hell then. At least I won't have some judgmental deity complaining about me being a normal human being.
