We are not talking only about Russia. Look around: everywhere where democracy (and not only democracy) is declared they show you only advantages: prosperity, liberty, native citizens of the country which live in wealth, benefits of open market and free speech. They do not show you poor people who starve, who live in ****, children's prostitution, slavish labour of emigrants (their employer can kill them and nobody will even find them, because they do not even exist).
This never happened in USSR. I lived in communist state, totalitarian state. It was the time of fear and friendship, the time of terrifying hardships and glorious victories, in time of duty and pride for your Motherland. I know how it was, and I want it back...

First it collapsed in 1991. And what? The fact that he is no more exists doesn't mean that situation can not be comprehended. Since 1991 there are: historical facts, millions of real people, relatives, bottomless sources of information accessible for everyone (just make sure that you can distinguish where is truth and where is false), which can help you to clarify the situation. Everywhere on former soviet and pro-soviet territories there are thousands of rusting ships, tanks, aircraft, abandoned factories, ports, mines, annihilated villages, cities. Once they all were alive...now they are dead. Today they are silent witnesses of how it WAS, and how it IS today.
ow sorry I was confuced with the berlin wall en all those happenings. yes I do understand it a little bit. but if you have the right to chose for democracy or communism, I think you pick communism you have no free right anymore if you say one thing in that old times you where cauhgt by the KGB and killed or send to Siberië so far I now sorry if I all got it wrong please say it. I am trying to understand the menings of all cuz we have a lot of subjects on school about it.
