Jesus final someone intelligent enough to make JUST textures pack and not modify anything else as ALL the other hi res mods do. No gameplay modifications, no retarded new effects, no lighting modifications.

ye my bad i noticed all the new textures, but even with faster.cfg i dont have 120 fps so thats why i would want just a textures mod and nothing else.

wierdly enough RBDoom3BFG with no mods also dont give me 120 fps while original Doom 3 BFG give me super stable 120 fps and can even give me much more with com_engineHz higher than 120.

Any idea?

So anoying when so called HD mods are changing gameplay without telling...

Ok so i tried fast.cfg (still could not maintain 120fps) and faster.cfg (which give 120 fps stable) i have to say the game looks much worse than without the mod with this mod+.cfgs. might as well not play with the mod then because textures dont seem better except for a few doors.

is there any tutorials on how to add/make textures mod. i realy just wish to have textures/skins enhancement and nothing else.

U need 3.0 then unzip 3.1 over.

So i have tried Doom 3 BFH Hi Def mod 3.0.

I could not find any instructions on how to run/tweak/enable disable stuff (yes i read the README i only found : if you use the prebuilt Win32 binaries then simply extract them to your
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Doom 3 BFG Edition\ directory and run RBDoom3BFG.exe) so i just unziped all in my Doom 3 BFG Edition Steam folder then double clicked the RBDoom3BFG.exe (i did not tried the 3.1 update of this mod).

So maybe something went wrong... I find the lighting to be extremly ugly compared to the original, it is much brighter. I realy would like just a pack with all the possible high resolution textures/skins. That's what i use in original Doom 3, i find the sikkmod lights/shadows very ugly in Original Doom 3.

i would not mind having some relief textures but thats not my priority.

For Original Doom 3 i just took the HD texture pack of a mod to play with (without the mod). As far as i understood Doom 3 BFG is harder to mod/load .pk4 files.

So is there a possibility to have just the hi res textures/skins?

PS: i did not see new variables or menu items, except in a .cfg file. Does ur mod use Bloom?

Is there a 64bit .exe?

One thing i realy want to see in Brutal Doom is a change in the Super shotgun because the original one is graphicaly realy ugly and the bullet spread is also bad.

I realy like the new shotgun and the pistol replacement. All the new weapons are nice. (playing v20b).

Also does anyone know why i have my FPS drops to 25 when in maps with absolutly no monsters but with big streets like map 14 of BD.

Also is it possible to play it without voxel pack? When i try to do so i get an error in the console and can't play. Erros says only one word and the it stops loading the map, erro is something like this : VoxelS. i belive it has something to do with voxel.

Yes i set "extension limit" OFF. Then the game launch and i can go to level 1 but their is no mouse. I can not move the mouse or bind any key to the mouse if i rename quake2xp.exe to quake2.exe. Which i need to play it with Steam overlay etc. :(

i managed to make it work using Nvidia Profile Inspector to turn off extension limit. But then there is no mouse input. its like it does not recognise the mouse at all. Can't click to shoot with mouse or move the view around.

I can confirm it does not work as nvidia has deleted that "extension limit" option from their drivers. GTX 1070 here.

After testing other Q2 mods i found that this is definitly the best Quake 2 enhancement mode BY FAR.

Is it possible to play the expansion packs with it? Also it does not work if we renamed it to quake2.exe to make it work with Steam overlay etc. Is there a workaround or is it possible to fix? I'm forced to use KMQ2 so far because it works with Steam overlay.
