It's grindy and that's the gist of it.

A game with lots of potential just barely missed. :(

Really good mod, very much liked the scaling on ships, good balance between lore accuracy and playability. Space battles also seemed particularly well balanced for the most part. I also really liked the variety of factions available and the independent faction(s?) here and there, very cool idea.

Some of the factions are (perhaps deliberately) unbalanced, sometimes in space but particularly in ground combat. It makes for an interesting challenge but sometimes feels a bit cheap.

Very solid mod overall and totally worth the download and a few hours of your spare time. :)

It's a fantastic piece of work. Brilliantly re-does almost every RTW asset, accurate to lore, campaigns can have an almost RPG type feel to them with all the custom generals, the balance is superb and very well thought out, beautiful custom settlements, and that's just to name a few of the features.

If ever there's a mod out there that's worth trying (at the risk of sinking a great many hours of your life into ;) it's this one, no question.

Brilliant mod. This looks the plays the way the original game probably should have. AAA quality through and through! :D
