I'm a new~ish player to Rome 2, and while I had a pretty easy time playing as Rome in the grand campaign in the vanilla game, getting to the point where I had 40 or so territories before getting bored and dropping the game, I can't even get past the tenth turn with this mod installed. You have a few turns before you get absolutely rushed and demolished by at least three different armies, two of them being Arretius and Taras. As for the third one, I get randomly invaded by one of the near empires/kingdoms within ten or so turns every game. I cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong. I just can't hold all of these armies, especially since they all seem to have powerful units from the very beginning, and an entire army. Even if I completely ignore my economy and just build units from the very start I still struggle. Microing doesn't do much in battles; as a matter of fact, some of them I had to absolutely auto-resolve, or I couldn't win them.

What am I doing wrong? Any advices for a new player?

Well, as i've stated in my first post, not the uprising units as they are in the Uprising game, but uh, repainted version with some Confederate flags, and "nerfed", cost much less but are much less effective... Some ideas: Future tanks "wheels" are removed (rubber is expensive nowadays you know)as soon as you decide to put it in a "battle" position, and it shoots i dunno, misseles instead of energy balls? It's kinda silly, but you guys get my point.

Hey guys, awesome mod. I've been following it since the very first version. I hope a new beta get released soon.
So... I got an idea which i'm pretty sure you guys will find bad, but it doesn't hurt to suggest. Anyways, since Confederate Revolutionaries are rebels and all about "improvising", how about they have 1 or more units from uprising, but a "scrapped" and totally remade version of it, like the big robot from allied from Uprising, or even the big armor-warrior-thing from the Empire (Yeah, too lazy to search their names)?
