Yeah, everyone, as artistpavel said, if you have the Steam version, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE SMART MOD MANAGER. When you download CS2009's file from moddb, simply extract the files using WinZip or some other extractor. SMM only messes up the extraction.

Yes. I've tried that as well. When I do that, the game does not even start up. I run Stalker from steam, and it looks as if it is going to start up. But it never actually does.

I need help installing this mod. I've followed the instructions perfectly. I've changed both the LTX files. I've dorked around with it to try to get it to run, and whenever it does end up running, it runs the vanilla version, not Complete 2009. Here is what my folder looks like:

I've got my eyes on this mod, it looks fantastic.

I am honestly blown away. This is the best mod I've played in years. And I normally HATE multiplayer games. Honestly, you've nailed the combat on the head (wow, unlike Counter Strike, my grenades are not worthless), you've nailed the teamwork on the head, and you've got perfectly smooth movement, and GREAT atmosphere, FANTASTIC level design, and a quality soundtrack to boot.

All of this with relatively no glitches or bugs anywhere as far as I could tell. That's impressive considering it's a first release. Honestly, I would have easily paid for this game. 10/10. This is bold but I will say it, this is the best multiplayer mod since the original Counter Strike.
