I really cant wait for 2.0 when the rife stats get fixed. Half upgraded green dragon is virtually unusable past 100 meters. Sometimes takes 5 shots before you can hit anything....

Then that's even better. This could be calculated with a ballistics computer with a high end scope. That realy opens up new possibilities for scopes with differant features.

I realize that you can already get a night vision upgrade for allot of scopes in game but I find it a bit unrealistic that you can add fully functioning night vision to a scope and not change its appearance in the slightest.

I was mostly talking about bullet drop, since I don't think stalker has wind effects on ballistics we don't need to worrey about that. I was just saying if you can dial in the distance you don't need to wait 4 shots of crazy expensive ammo trying to guess where your bullets are going to land.

Are you talking about adjustable zoom on scopes? If so, I had thought that there was already on upgrade for that on some scopes? I could be wrong though since I just got back I to the game.

Something I would like to See is some "High End" optics. Variety is the spice of life and late game you usually have accumulated allot of money. I would like to be able to buy mint condition optics that maybe have some more features than what you find on the shelf.

Some super high end late game scope systems would be very cool too. Something like the cheytak computerized scope system complete with the hand held shooting computer, or the Barrett BORS system.

I think if you calibrated scopes like the old delta force games it could be very useful to compensate for bullet drop at very long range. You use a range finder to range your target, then you enter that number into your scope using the mouse wheel. This puts the crosshares properly on target for that range.

I want to start by saying that I really love this mod. But I'm finding a few issues trying to play as a sniper. Specificly in very long range engagements, one of the issues is that you can actually see much farther through the scope than the draw distance that the enemies spawn at.

I was trying to attack the bandit outpost in Jupiter and the badits would not actually spawn untill I got quite close. This is really annoying because you need to run up to the outpost untill you can see the enemies starting to spawn, then run the other way and find cover to attack from. Would it maybe be possible to spawn all enemies in your line of sight regardless of distance? This would make long range engagements so much better....

Also can we please fix the enemies so they stop throwing grenades 500+ meters with perfect accuracy, over a hill, behind a wall while underground.... Its very annoying when you have rookie bandits throwing grenades over top of large buildings and then have them land perfectly right on top of you.

It would also be really nice if you could mount ANY sight that attaches to picitinny rails to any gun with picitinny rails. Why am I stuck with the unremovable scope on the Green Dragon?

I am finding the accuracy of sniper rifles (currently using the "Green Dragon") can be kind of random. I will put the crosshares on 3 targets at the exact same distance and sometimes I will hit all 3 and sometimes I wont, it seems to be kind of random. Maybe this is just the limitation of the accuracy of this rifle. If there is a better one please let me know.

Besides these issues, this is BY FAR the BEST mod for STALKER. Great work and keep it up!

Part 2 (part 1 in the post below)

At the start of the game the only reliable way of getting healed is by the Medic. When he dissapears your only sorce of healing is from medkits that are very very rare and no one sell's them. What I did was changed a file so the trader carried 1 medkit in stock. If you get hurt after the medic is gone you have no way of healing yourself and it completley breaks story progression.

I realise that you changed all the speach to russian for immersion reasons, but I personally don't think it immersing to read a wall of text everytime I talk to a main character. Thats just my POV though.

I actually had a dream the other night that I was in an emission. Everything was turning red, there were fireballs and red lightening in the sky, it was absolutely deafening, the ground was starting to shake and actually deform. The ground was actually starting rise and change shape as if someone was taking a noise tool to the terain. I was running as fast as I could to get back to base alive but it was soo hard to run, it was as if there was waves rippeling throught he ground knocking me over every few meters. When the emmission was over all the landscape had changed. I woke up scared to death, I calmed down and thought to myself "what if we could somehow capture even a little bit of this fear in the game".

Right now emmissions in the vanilla game and pretty much every mod really aren't anything special. Infact there almost more of a hastle than anything. There not scary, there not even a real threat. You can reach a safezone from almost any point on the map when an emission hits. It would just be really great if they could be something more than what they are now.

Your mod does allot more thing right than it does wrong though. I love how it takes the difficulty meter and shoots it through the roof. Hope you don't mind my wall of text.

I really like your mod, well most of it anyway. I also know nothing about modding the X-ray engine so please take all this with a grain of salt, I don't know whats possible and what's not.

there are just a few things that I feel could be improved upon to make it even better.

Rats and dogs kill you almost instantly, even with heavy body armour.

When using long range sniper rifles such as the "Green Dragon" you can see farther though your scope than the draw distance of the game will draw in charecters. If you could increase the draw distance of the game than it would make super long range sniping a more viable tactic.

When your shooting at long range there is no way to tell where you shot is going to correct for bullet drop. It would be nice too have your shot kick up dust upon impact with the ground. Or you could do something like Battlefeild 3 where you can see the tracer of your shot.

The scopes have very low res grainy textures that really look awful. What I would love to see is a scope thats zoomed while the remaing feild of view stays the same instead of just turning black. The scope drift is way overkill, its all over the place and completley unpredictable. I would suggest toning it down a bit and maybe have an option to "hold breath" or something to further reduce it while crouching.

Enemies at times have "superhuman" accuracy (1 shot to the head with an AK74 while sprinting). The way they throw grenades is even more annoying, they practically throw them over buildings and still hit you dead on.

Let me just start by saying that I really love this mod (most of it)

Just a few things that really bug me, dogs and rats kill you almost instantly even with fully upgraded armour.

Also when your looking down your scope the aim drift is all over the place and not consistant at all. Maybe a hold breath command would work well? Also if it would be possible to have zoomed view through your scope but not change the rest of your view it would go a long way towards realism.

i was wondering if it would be possible to make a superweapons switch in your next version? superweapons can be fun and all but I hate when you have to rush to build aircraft to take them out, sometimes I like to just fight with units an dnot worry about being nuked into the ground
