Bought it at an army surplus store with a friend, was looking for this one specifically. Just found out it had lens covers already on it.

I suppose the charcoal filter is outdated and the mask has lost its protection value.
I assumed so, I hope its safe to breath through it for an extended period of time though, in a non hazardous area (for like an hour or 2)
