I know this won't help you at all, but maybe you should use only one or two active disciplines. Bloddlines itself wasn't made for more than that, anyway. I prefer two-three "basic" ones (like Celerity, Potence and the like) and only one active, with multiple powers. Regarding the mod, that's sad, hope you can make it through.
Do you still have problems having started over without CE? Or are you using the same save file? You probably know it by now, since you've beaten the game many times, but it's not a good idea to play a save file in different mods/mod versions.
What game version do you have? Steam, GOG or retail?

Was Wesp able to fix that?!

Awesome! Since it isn't game-breaking, and it's funny, take your time. =P
Just to keep a better track, have you asked what they've installed? I have CQM 3.1.2, everything on (UP+, CE lite, arsenal...). Maybe it only happens like that, who knows.

AFAIK, there isn't an easy way of doing it. Bloodlines it's really hardcoded, so merging mods take long time to work, polish and fix. CQM merged UP with a bunch of mods and some great own content, but spent a lof of time to make it work as intended and not breaking.

Hey! Sorry I'm so late, but I normally don't check this boards.
The best way to look for help is planetvampire. You probably figured it out by now, but you have to use a program that allows it (VPKTool), you have to change the model so you can use it with a different clan, then put it as a regular skin. That's what I think, at least. If you are still around and in need of help, I'll make some research for you, but chances are, you already know or don't care anymore. =P

That's great, thanks for telling us! I just saw he sent me a PM at the time from my last message. I have to start login more often (I tend to look for public answers from time to time, since I use many browsers...)

Hey, sorry for the late reply. You should uninstall the game, then check back the folder where you installed everything and delete all.
After you've erased that, you have to reinstall the game, choose what you like best (CQM, UP, TFN, Antitribu... Whatever you like, but only one of them) and stick to that.
Some people like to keep their install clean, copy it, paste it with a different name and install there, to make sure mods won't overlap. That way, you can have vanilla, UP, CQM, TFN or whatever you like the best, just stick to separate folders.
Also, try to install the game outside from program files (if it's on Steam, and you've installed Steam in Program files, I wouldn't bother at all, but if it's a retail copy you should install it in a different directory, most of us create a folder called "Games" in C:). That way, it will be probably work better.
Finally, some mods are allowed to be in the same directory, but I think it may confuse you, especially after all this information, so to keep it simple, as long as you have enough space, you should maintain different folders for each mod you like (if you want more than one).
If there's anything else we can help you with, tell us!

I had a funny bug today. I tried to embrace two times in Skyline apartments, and when I was executed, well... It was a Nosferatu, not me (I'm playing toreador to try 3.1.2). Clean install, everything working as intended but that.

Never install anything with a mod unless the mod tells you to do it. Mods like CQM has an older (but still pretty new) version of UP, which works just fine, but installing another UP on top (or before) will mess up the game. Mods like TFN shouldn't be installed with UP either. You have to chose between UP or a mod.

Hey, I'm TOO late, but I wanted to say that as far as I know, online college doesn't exist in the newest CQM version, but bloodloss does.

Hi! Remember me? =P

I totally agree with you, but instead of points I'd say bonus to seduction, that way it's easier if you want to raise Appearence (otherwise, you'd have to change your clothes off before doing it). Not sure about the values, but it's a neat and fun concept. Upvoted. =)

Yeah, that's a bug from Vanilla, and there is no fix for it (the most close thing is included in TFN, where you are insta-killed if you abuse that exploit).

Just avoid using it if you don't want the game to become easy, or use it if you want to be god like, but you'll get bored.

As far as I know, compmod was discontinued and is currently unsupported, the best you can get is compmod lite in CQM. Sorry.

Hey!
Sorry for replying a month later, but you or other people may find it useful!

Compmod is unsupported as far as I know, so if you want to use its full version, you can't. On the bright side, there is an AWESOME mod that greatly improves vanilla (CQM), which has an option to play with compmod lite (that means that you won't have more than two companions, but at least you can embrace one of them!), and also supports a decent UP version (9.2, you can chose between normal or + too).
If you don't mind having a few companions, that's the best you can get. Otherwise, I'd suggest having two (or more) different clean installs, and making one being full compmod, the others being either UP, CQM or TFN (whatever you like the best).

Good luck and have fun!

Not really. Have you read the books? That's like saying that a Nosferatu could be beautiful with a background. Malkavians are ALWAYS crazy, being disconnected only affects their insight because they don't receive the information comming from it. And no, not all Malkavians "listen" to voices.

Obfuscate can't be used to read minds, and while a VERY advanced Auspex user could, you are a neonate, so no, you can't read minds even with 5 points there. You could only get a very superficial idea of how the feel (not much of an improvement over your sharper senses, really). And in any case, both Disciplines are not clan-specific, so even a Toreador or a Tremere would be equally capable of read minds (and they don't get that extra insight in their playthroughs). Also, look at the benefits of Auspex in game: you get a boost to your mental capabilities, so we can assume you aren't learning in any way how to read minds, and only focusing in improving your own feats.

The main problem is that the Prince is not stupid. Sorry, but he would know if Skelter just hid. He has people following you around (if you kill the Sabbat and help Lorenzo, you can see that the Prince knows of it, which confirms what I just said).

Isn't there an option in the Install? I don't know for sure since I installed it like many months ago, but I can check it out if you want. =)

Not really... Malkavians are not just psychotics. There are a lot of mental illness, and Malkavians have one of them because their blood is cursed. So a Malkavian could have OCD and talk normally, it has nothing to do with the Malkavian Network. What should change being Disconnected? You have no extra Insight, that's it.

Why do you assume a Malkavian can read minds? If you talk about episodes like that one of VV, well... ALL Malkavian are connected (through the Malkavian Network). If a Malkavian knows the past of VV, chances are you can get her real name. And so on, and on.

It is possible. However, it will TOTALLY mess up your game. Don't even think about it. But an update is comming out soon, which will include the latest UP patch.

Well, you said that in February, but CQM is gonna be updated anytime soon! I guess, in a couple or months, or so, but still...

I didn't like Final Nights that much, but it's pretty good anyway. And Antitribu... I think it's gonna be tons better when (and if) they put some Sabbat quests ingame. I think they actually made some semi-main quests, but I haven't tested them myself. But yeah, it's even more FPS-like, which would fit damn good to a Sabbat, but not as much to a Cammy or an Anarch. And it's everything about roleplaying to me.

Otherwise, I totally agree with you. Hope you are still playing this amazing game.

Belzelga - - 26 comments @ CQM is Back, 3.1 is on the Way!

I've never liked PnP's mod so much. Really. It makes Nosferatu even worse. I mean, they can't use subterfuge, but they need it to persuade people. And it's Bloodlines. You badly need that feat if you want extra exp. And as a Nossie you need tons of feats. But that's only my opinion.

I like CE and UP a lot more. I don't clearly understand what things will not be in CQM, but the things that will still be available are the best without any doubt.

Will the library map be on CQM 3.1? Also, will you be able to improve Blood heal/Blood buff as common disciplines?

Man, this sounds promising. Keep up the good work!
