I live in a dorm with a slow internet connection and mega link breaks halfway through, so I can't get this masterpiece.

Hello
Upon executing the Stalker-CoC.exe , I get the following error:
"Your video card doesn't meet game requirements. Try to lower game settings." ,
even though my system does cover the necessary game and mod requirements and I can't access the game to change the upper mentioned settings since I get this error.
Help?
I have installed the 1.4.16 patch
