Where can this be downloaded??

Is there a way to edit the carry weight? I attempted the old way and it didn't work so I changed it back. I know allowing the character to carry more weight messes with the experience and realism of the game but my character's sprint speed is as if he is walking, the walking is the speed of the crawl speed and there is A LOT of sway.

Unfortunately that could take a week to find

Just downloaded the game again for a little nostalgia play. When I ran it for the first time, it went to the configurator and it gives me the game is unstable. I tried to go to mods and it crashed. Started again and just did start new game. the game loads fine. Save and exit, then try the configurator again and it crashes. There are no crash logs.

My System:
i9-9900K
MSI Meg Ace Mobo
32 gigs ram
M.2 Sata drive
nVidia RTX-3080ti

Used developer mode and turn on god mode to get through that part.

Anyone know where to get the powerful antenna information for the artifact detectors. I'd like to get maximum range out of the detectors.

Yep, tried touching every part of the objects, objects near them, under them, everything. They are just not accessible. Would like a fix but know it will never happen. Oh Well.

There are two in The Radar at the moment. Both at Monolith's camp. There is the electrical box showing a stash and the pipe near the larger house showing one also. Neither can be accessed. There is one in the Monolith base in the Dark Valley under the big stairs near the kitchen area that cannot me accessed. It's a back pack I believe. There are two in The Dead City, one in the building with the pool and one in the building directly across from the Merc base. I believe one is a locker but the other I cannot recall. I'm going by memory. The is a table in the Merc base in Darkscape as well.

Why are there soooo many stashes that are inaccessible?

After reverting to a much older save, it worked.

Seriy and Mole will not give the information to move further in the game. I saved mole and follow him, do his dialogue and nothing happens.

I just set it at medium and don't touch anything else in the advanced menu. It works. Now I just need to increase my carry weight hehehehe

Ok, that worked but I cant change the video quality settings. I run a RTX-2080ti and have to use medium settings. That kinda stinks but at least I can play now.

I was away from the game for approximately one hour. No updates were done. There is no log whatsoever.

So I just installed the game and played for a little bit. Seemed to run fine. I am using actual named saves and stopped playing to take care of something. I returned to try and continue and when I try to launch the game from the new menu system, none of the three options work.

I erased the three saves and tried to start a new game. I get the small loading screen then nothing. The new start menu is there but no game. There are not crash files.

Nope, just installed on the drive

As stated, it worked fine. Played for maybe an hour. Exited the game after saving. Returned and it would go to the new menu. Try to start from the saves or even a new game and nothing. It attempts to start the game but nothing happens. There is no crash report given.

So I just installed the game and played for a little bit. Seemed to run fine. I am using actual named saves and stopped playing to take care of something. The saves showing are from the previous version but are not even on the same hard drive as the game install. I am not sure how the game located those but it will not launch at all. A restart did not help and I actually found that the old save files are gone. The dates on the newly created files show July 2012.

New crash, I had to go back and talk to the doctor. I'm attempting to return and the game crashes in the bar with this error message:

I am in the lab after infiltrating the bandit base. I kill everything get the codes to both doors and kill the final Burer thing. I get knocked out, it goes to a cut scene and then comes back to me staring at the last place I was looking before being knocked out by the psy-emission thing. It locks up the controls. I can use escape and to the main menu, reload the last save or quit but nothing else.

This may have been addressed already but is a new game required to play or will old saves still work?

I've gone through several pages of comments and didn't see this anyone talk about Scientist Dee Dee in the concrete thing not walking up to you at the desk and talking. He just stands there out of talking distance. Any suggestions?

Just found that the gamegata.dbf file is being associated with Open Office. Would that be a problem?

As far as I can tell, the 1.4002 installer is not installing all the files. There are several gamedata.db(*) files but not a gamedata folder.

Reinstalled and it is the same (minus the extra folders, not sure what happened the first time)

Sorry, wrong choice of words. I meant the mods the repair people do. All the Stalker games have them. But in LA, the repair kits no longer work on them. Also, the weapons bought from secret traders are non-repairable.
