The Land Of Sika

Mod review

After a few days of gameplay:

Positive

+Factions are diverse and their noble recruits can be upgraded into two different branches. I had a wonderful army consisting of troops from all cultures with different roles in the end.

+Settlement management is fun, custom troops and spritual pets are nice as well.

+Interesting story with interesting characters

Negative:

-You are referred to as "foreigner" and "outsider", though you need to choose an existing culture when creating your character. Even a certain princess has "Yan" culture, although she definitely is NOT.

-Not a fan of spongy enemies that can one shot you (Bannerlord difficulty).

-The map could use some more polishing

Fallout: New California

Mod review

The points are for prologue and voice acting. After the prologue the mod loses most of the interesting characters and the story pacing. And there is absolutely no male NPCs to flirt with as a male player.

Warsword Conquest

Mod review

No review needed for this wonderful mod, it is one of the most ambitious and successful mods out there

Prophesy of Pendor

Mod review

Knighthood parties and kingdom armies recruit farmers and as a result half of their armies are filled with trash troops.

Companions don't use the same codes as Noldor, which causes archers to charge needlesly.

Some of the troops are buffed excessively which creates an artificial difficulty.

After playing some time, the tavern music and sounds can get stuck and can be heard the entire time.

-12TH-

Mod review

I played the English version, and I have to say the map is huge although a little empty in some places. I started in Byzantine region and gathered some of the companions. The rest are in the far east and I think I need to gain more levels before attempting to make the voyage.

Keep an eye on the daily tips that appear on the left, they have very nice info about the features of the mod (I won't give spoilers) and the Guild Masters are not standing, they are walking around the city accompanied by some townfolk.

The Trojan War

Mod review

Even for a beta there are too many problems. In my short experience which ended with the merchant's second quest, the city was like a maze and the AI cannot find its way, I couldn't use backspace to see where they are and couldn't exit the scene either because the enemy wasn't defeated yet. I aimlessly searched every corner for minutes before I gave up. I also saw Sarranid Swords and Spartan recruits are called Nord recruits.

Medieval Conquests

Mod review

The mod was fine and seemed like a great successor for AD 1257 until I discovered horrible bugs and Count Biggus Dickus in Byzantine Empire!?

Anno Domini 1257

Mod review

I have been playing this mod for years now, it is one of the best mods the community ever made. My only concern is the map which wasn't drawn very detailed.

Last Breath of the Calradian Empire

Mod review

Another wonderful mod from Caballeros of Calradia. I know from personal experience that it is very hard to mod and I admire their dedication and hard work. I played a little and I love the scenes and the music. 100% recommended.

The team seems to have put a lot of effort into this mod, I don't mean to dishearten them, but there are many things that need fixing.

* The map is too rough and needs a thorough re-shaping.

* I joined armies of Morea and Trebizond, but they hang around their castles doing nothing, because the number of the lords and the soldiers in their armies are too low to encourage them to go offensive. Don't even join their armies with freelancer unless you want to reach the highest tier and plan to keep the gear, or you will die of boredom.

* I know it is a mod centered around the Ottoman Empire, but the music is so out of place if you play with one of the other cultures. I wish they had a good selection of Anatolian, Balkan, Arab and Polish/Lithuanian songs. And those Mongolian or Tuvan melodies are completely irrelevant.
