i'm totally rewriting the code base of the launcher. That's take much more time than expected.
Good feature request, though

the RaW launcher is deprecated. It will be replaced by the Foc-Launcher eventually.

On Easter Sunday in cooperation with Corey from Thrawn's Revenge we will do a stream on his Twitch channel (www.twitch.tv/coreyloses). We will talk about the upcoming service pack, the changes we made to it and why we did them. Also we will talk about new features and ideas we plan to release in further versions of the mod.
The stream will start at 22:00 CEST (+1)/ 15:00 MDT (-6) and afterwards it will be available on Youtube too.

the messages are indicating that your mod is not installed correctly. As all of the error appear to be in the SFX section of the mods this doesn't make the mod unplayable but should be resolved.
The launcher can restore and fix your isntallation.

checking the mod, as described by you earlier, take some time depending on the specs of your computer as we need to check every single file to be sure the mod is valid.

the nullreference exception should not happen. the full stack trace would be helpful and well as telling me your conditions that lead to the crash.

The launcher was just updated to fix several things:

- completely new code base that is more maintainable and extensible
- correctly informs the user when the base games have faulty registry entires
- fixes faulty registry entries for steam version of the mod (they usually appear after an update or integrity check)
- fixed mod integrity check routine
- fixed "Fix AI" behaviour which was not fixing empire at war and may caused online incompatibility
- fixed some crashes when moving the launcher window under odd conditions
- fixed some typos

To get the latest version, just re-launch the launcher and it will update itself to version 1.1

Disney just approved a new update for the steam version of foc. Any savegame issues should be fixed.

Minor bug fixes and optimized performance, the most important fixes are:

Fixes issue with save games getting deleted if too large.
Sets maximum render FPS cap to 200.
Multiplayer lobbies are now visible if there is a version mismatch.

Apparently little to notice for Disney but exspecially this fix was investigated by us mod developers with a worthy mention to evilbobthebob from PR Mod. At this point we highly recommend using the steam version of the game. Disc and Gog version will not be updated.

so the problem is that for some reason the launcher was not able to get the version information. Does this error appear constantly?
do you have internet connection on your system?

New Launcher Update:

- Added a info message when starting the mod and the AI is not installed correctly.

- added better status message when checking mod integrity.

- fixed some minor stuff, relating language restore and IO handling.

New version is 1.0.0.5 and it will be downloaded when re-launching the launcher again.

most of the major bugs reported in version 1.2 have been fixed now.

we are still putting a lot of effort in applying the balance suggestions we got from you. We don't have a release date for this service pack but at the moment we closed 75% of all open issues.

launcher was updated to v1.0.0.4 to fix crashing when clicking the update button with ignore voices option enabled.

Just re-launch the launcher to get the update.

Also we took some time over the weekend and fixed over 10 issues you claimed. These and many more issues and importantly balance adjustments will be released in a service pack (1.2.1) sometime in the half, maybe sooner ;)

we are currently working on a hotfix that will decrease the health of structures in skirmish (and GC) as this really affects the game much. It should be out sometime this weekend. Just start the launcher and it will tell you when the update is available. This update will only be distributed via steam workshops and via the launcher. No Moddb upload for this!
